Guest Basswitch Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 After watching TNA and being pissed off about Styles getting buried and the fact that Daniels lost to Shane. I realized some good might come of this. We could see a possible Styles vs. Daniels fued. But i have to ask the question... Do you think it will actually happen?

I realized some good might come of this. We could see a possible Styles vs. Daniels fued. But i have to ask the question... Do you think it will actually happen? Once again, Styles was NOT buried in anyway. You do realize that just cause someone does a JOB doesn't mean that they were buried. I agree that Styles shouldn't have lost, but it could work out better for AJ in the long run. And to answer your question......NO.
Guest TDinDC1112 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 AJ Styles = the OPPOSITE of being buried last night. Hogan was buried in Wrestlemania 18 because he lost to The Rock too, right?
Michrome Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Styles is moving to the X Division, in fact, I'd bet that he will be the one to take the belt off of Michael Shane. The main event feud is going to be Jarrett-Hogan, and by extension, Jarrett and Hart until after Hogan can walk. If being moved down to a division that has been relegated to the curtain-jerker means being buried, then yes, he was buried. However, I think he's going to be the star babyface of the X Division, which may be a better place for him given his size and the fact that Jarrett won't job to him in a singles match.
Jack_Bauer Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I prefer AJ Styles in the X Division because I think we will see better matches as a result.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 I don't think people understand the definition of being buried. Being buried means having your heat taken away and made out to be nothing. That's the opposite of what happened to Styles last night.
Guest Goodear Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Just remember every time you think someone is being buried, "Is this as bad as a Kane angle?" Because if not, it is not a burial.
Corey_Lazarus Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Last night was the end of Styles' burial. Sure, he was made to look somewhat strong in his defeat, I'll admit that. But you know what? That doesn't make up for 4 months of a lukewarm reign where he was booked as Russo's second-fiddle, and the inferior to Jarrett on every one-on-one occasion. It might be your standard Memphis booking, but do you know what? It sucked then, and it sucks now.

Shunting AJ off to the X-division and away from the title doesn't do him any favours mind. I think it's fair to say that he was a lame-duck champ.
