Are you just wanting to know for the varying opinions, or are you wanting to get some tapes or something?

If it's the second part, I suggest you get those three NWA:TNA DVD's.

Do you know where I can at least download all of those matches, or the entire show?

Week 4 and Week 8 are still my favorite TNA eps.

Week 4 (7/10/02) had Styles/Lynn vs. Slash/Tempest (Devon Storm), Ron Killings (still as K-Krush) carrying Hermie Sadler to a watchable match, and a fucking awesome 6-man X-Division match (Jerry Lynn vs. Tony Mamaluke vs. Elix Skipper vs. Kid Romeo vs. Christopher Daniels vs. LowKi).

Week 8 (8/7/02) had a **** Triple Threat match for the X-Division title (LowKi vs. AJ Styles vs. Jerry Lynn) and Ron Killings becoming the first ever black NWA World Heavyweight champion.

Those 2, and week 4 were their 3 best shows without a doubt. I remember after week 4, Meltzer and 1Bob and the Torch were raving about the product.

The Super X show was very fun, Sabin-Kazarian was **3/4, Juvi-Hart was ***, and Juvi-Sabin was ***1/2, making it TNA's 3rd best match ever.

The best show was probably June 25th, Sabin and Kazarian had a *** match and there was a ***1/2 cage match opener.

The best TNA match was the Ki-Lynn-Styles 3-way from early on that was ***3/4, just a real good, tight match.

Edit: Yep, I meant TNA, sorry. Had the AJPW show on my mind!

Super X Tourney, the night of AMW/XXX cage match, and the night of Raven/Jarrett are probably my favorite three. Week 4 and 8 as mentioned, would round out the top five.

JUNE 25 RESULTS

AMERICA'S MOST WANTED WIN IN TNA'S FIRST STEEL CAGE MATCH!

NWA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

America's Most Wanted

d.

Triple X (champions)

It was TNA's first cage match, and one that will keep people talking for a while as the top two tag teams in TNA faced off. It was a war, it was brutal, and it was bloody. At one point Elix Skipper wowed everyone with a cross body press off the top of the cage, but AMW did him up one better when a bloodied Chris Harris climbed to the top of the cage and hit The Death Sentence on Christopher Daniels to give AMW the victory and the World Titles!

X DIVISION MATCHUP (NON TITLE MATCH)

Frank Kazarian

d.

Chris Sabin (champion)

Both are called "The Future", and with good reason as Kazarian and Sabin kicked off the 2nd year of TNA's X Division with a great matchup full of moves and countermoves. Sabin was very fortunate it wasn't a title match though as Kazarian scored the pinfall after a "Flux Capacitor" in a great exhibition of X Division action.

HARD 10 TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINAL MATCH

Sandman

d.

Sonny Siaki

The winner would go on to the finals to face hardcore legend New Jack. Siaki had put Sandman through a table to go up 9-2 at one point, but then Sandman went to work with shot after shot. Finally, Sandman put Siaki on a table outside the ring, climbed the turnbuckle, and crashed through Siaki and the table below for the win. New Jack came out to the ring and shared a beer with Sandman after the match and spoke about the brutality everyone would witness next week in the finals.

GRUDGE MATCH

Kid Kash

d.

Erik Watts

Kash was obviously mis-matched in the height department, but not in craftiness as he took the fight to Watts pulling out all the stops. Watts went to toss Kash in the corner, but the referee was in the way and was knocked out. Abyss took the opportunity to come into the ring and attack Watts. The referee came to as Kash made the cover and scored the victory.

LIGHTS OUT MATCH

Jerry Lynn

d.

Justin Credible

The brawl began outside and never even made it to the ring. When Credible and Lynn re-entered the building, Credible was thrown into one of the cages that the TNA dancers use, and Lollipop was injured. As Lynn checked on her condition, Credible attacked and almost pulled out a victory, but Lynn executed a roll-up on top of the ramp for the pin. Afterwards, Credible handcuffed Lynn to one of the cage bars and attacked him with a chair.

Jeff Jarrett & Raven

d.

Shane Douglas & Glenn Gilberti

via DQ

The match generally saw Douglas brawling with Raven and Gilberti mixing it up with Jarrett, obviously unfinished business between everyone. Not a typical tag team match as both teams went at it in and out of the ring with very little order to it. At the end, James Mitchell re-emerged, entered the ring and threw a fireball at Raven. Julio and Alexis came out to tend to Raven as Mitchell and Douglas went to the back laughing maniacally.

I agree entirely with you.

Regardless of the outcome, the first Jarrett/Raven match had a ton of heat and emotion, which made it great.

To me, its the Super X (9.3.03) show. Awesome stuff.

I think Ray is the only one to say it sucked.

Since I'm in school, I've only seen the summer shows and the ones that fall on holidays when I'm home and have access to PPV, so keep in mind I have seen every show. Anyway, here's my top 5:

Week 3 with Jarrett and Killings (as K-Krush) versus Hall and Christopher on top, plus the first tag team tournament with the Rainbow Express/Styles and Lynn in the finals

Week 7 or 8 where Killings beat Shamrock for the title, Jarrett had an good match with Apollo and Low-Ki won the X-title in the 3-way main with Lynn and Styles.

The last show of 2002 where LOD first appeared and Triple X was formed and main evented against the SAT and Red.

The 6/25 show with the AMW/Triple X cage match.

And I think the first show was very underrated....it featured the excellent 6 man opener and the entertaining Gaunlet for the Gold.

The Raven/Jarrett/Styles World Title Match show, where Styles won the belt was really good.

The last show of 2002 where they had XXX form as well as the awesome XXX vs. SAT's six-man tag.

The Raven/Jarrett show, as well as some of the shows leading up to it were really good.

And of course the Super X show and the one prior to it were tremendous.

If anyone cares, I just found the TNA Super X Cup show (well, it's a file with just the matches) on KaZaa, woohoo!

I'll watch them all tomorrow.
