Youth N Asia Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 I really liked STP, and I was looking forward to Velvet Revolver. But I'm sick of this fuck up getting hundreds of 2nd chances that an unfamous person wouldn't get
haVoc Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 From Blabbermouth STONE TEMPLE PILOTS/VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland was ordered on Thursday (Oct. 30) to report to a live-in detox program followed by six months in a residential drug rehab center, according to Reuters. The court order followed Weiland's arrest on Monday — his 36th birthday — for crashing into a parked car in Hollywood and leaving the scene of the accident. He was charged with driving under the influence. Weiland, who has a history of heroin addiction, which landed him jail time in 1999, was already undergoing a court-ordered drug counseling program. Pasadena Superior Court Commissioner Collette Serio said on Thursday that she would allow Weiland out of the residential facility for a 10-day period starting Nov. 7 for four hours a day so that he can finish recording an album with his new band VELVET REVOLVER. Weiland will be taken to the recording studio by a police officer and tested for drugs immediately on his return Lucky fuck
1234-5678 Posted November 1, 2003 Author Report Posted November 1, 2003 Is it possible to make a good album while not on drugs?
Red Baron Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Well it just depends on what you think is good music, but a good chunk of artists are on some type of drug... and then there's Pearl Jam...
1234-5678 Posted November 2, 2003 Author Report Posted November 2, 2003 Well it just depends on what you think is good music, but a good chunk of artists are on some type of drug... and then there's Pearl Jam... Isn't Vedder a partier though? I mean he used to hang out with Rodman for Christ's sake!
Red Baron Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 ya, but he's no heroin addict, and there's only him and Cornell that are actually on the ball from all the famous grunge bands of the 90's...
AboveAverage484 Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Guns N' Roses would be elligible in 2010. Just saying.
