Dutch Mantell SUCKS

You must live a very busy life if you have time to write a 2,000 word essay about professional wrestling.

Since I consider that Flaming, how come Cubby Bear isnt getting the abuse I got last week

That's not flaming. What would be flaming is me calling you a fucking asshole who states the same opinions over and over without ever having anything to back them up and thinks it's impressive to work on a college radio station and also thinks it's cool to put the word journalist in your username as if you are a real one - that's flaming, but I didn't do that so I didn't flame you.

A 2000 word essay? Why do you continue to drag this out when you've already admitted that you haven't watched the full product?

EDIT: And I bet barely anyone here is going to invest they're time to read something of that length when we've read it all before and your logic is still going to be flawed.

Oh and please learn where Puerto Rico is if you have the time.

Ok, I'll do my best to cope with it, but since you're a journalist I'm sure you know that you should have put a period or exclamation point after the word "it."

Actually, Its not you i have a problem with, its Mad Dog and Syxx 2001, who despite any legit point I ever make, just flame the shit out of me, shout me down, and run screaming to the mods

When you make a legit point I'll respond to it.

And I never mention you in other threads. Your the one that constantly brings my name up in threads I'm not even involved in. You do the same with Syxx, Zack, EMax and BP.

Alright, here's a legit point

-Dutch Mantell is a joke of a booker.

-From what I have read, the almost unanimous opinion is that last nights show sucked balls, including yet another whiny bitch promo from JJJ, who has once again booked himself into a hole, by bringing in Sting

-Next week, Raven gets to take on a manager. What fucking great use of him.

So your judging a booker who's work you've never seen? Yeah real good.

The show wasn't absolutely terrible. It wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either.

Always have to fall back on the Raven stuff don't you? Despite the fact that you've probably been told about 300 times that Raven WRITES HIS OWN STUFF!!! WILL YOU GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD AND STOP SOUNDING LIKE A GOD DAMNED BROKEN RECORD!!!

Well at least this is stuff that can be discussed.

1. I didn't see last night's show yet so I can't comment and say that it sucked.

2. As far as Raven goes, here's the thing: The whole feud has been about Raven and Mitchell. That's the feud. It wasn't about Douglas, it wasn't about Vampiro, it's ultimately about Mitchell. They made it about Mitchell because originally it was supposed to be Sabu, and he stiffed them, so they went in a direction that would be safe. The storyline has been Mitchell using different Pawns to go after Raven - so now ultimately the blowoff is next week as Raven finally gets his hands on Mitchell.

3. It is soooo unfair to say Dutch is a joke. Did people expect him to "turn things around" in 2 weeks? Everyone always complains that wrestling these days is too crash TV oriented, and things need to be longer and drawn out and stories need to be told. So with that being said, he needs to be given time to turn things around. That's exactly the problem with WWE is all they care about is this week's rating instead of trying to fix things long term. To expect someone to come right in and change everything is ridiculous as that IS NOT HOW MONEY IS MADE IN WRESTLING.

Fuck You, I'm still around, on a silent protest against bps and Zack Malibu, and currently writing a 2000 word anti-Jarrett essay which is so well written, I wont get flamed for it

No Dude, I'm sure someone will flame you for it.

The General Consenous of people I have talked to is that Mantell is over rated and his shows have lacked co-hesion. At least Russo knew what he was doing. But of course, Hogan doesnt like him, so wel'l shit can him.

Again, from what I have read, the in-ring work was sub-standard, with the match of the night being Kash and Abyss (of all people)

That is of course, what happens, when your'e main event is Jeff Jarrett vs Rick Steiner. Some fucking surprise. A round of applause for Jeff and Daddy for removing AJ Styles in favour of RICK STEINER.

As for Raven, its obvious you despise him, because he aint "Southern" or "Memphis", so I'm just gonna leave your mad rantings alone.

Yeah that what I'm afraid of. The basic gist of it (the first part anyway) is that people like Mad Dog are so anti-WWE, that they treat Jarrett like God because he's provided "competition" to the WWE, when, in fact, TNA is no-where near competition for Vince, I go off on a tangent why

Don't comment on things you don't see. Co-hesion is the one thing he's getting praised for right now.

It was used to set up Sting/Jarrett. If you actually watched the shows you'd know that.

Man I really feel sorry for whatever newspaper employs you if you continually stick to the SAME ARGUMENTS long after they've been proven wrong. And not just once but time and time and time again.

Why don't you ever form your own opinions? Hogan and Russo had a Lawsuit - there are LEGAL reasons why they can't be involved together. If you asked the wrestling community who they'd rather have book their company, I have a feeling Dutch might get a few more votes than Russo - just a hunch.

YOU HAVE TO GIVE A BOOKER MORE THAN 2 WEEKS! WRESTLING IS ABOUT LONG-TERM BUILDING, NOT 2 WEEK CRASH-TV.

Crash TV helped Russo have the highest rated segment of all time for Raw.

I sincerly dread to think what the WWE mid1997- 1999 would have been like without Russo.

As for Mantell.....Yeah, Puerto Rico's a phenomanly difficult market to break.

At this rate, I should probably start a TNA Ewr Diary

Because, as we have seen, my opinion (Jarrett and Mantell are killing the company, Raven is being buried) result in Mad Dog and Syxx2001 flaming the shit out of me. I use other people's opinions to show their (Mad Dog in particular) utter hypocrisy when it comes to this. I havent noted him screaming at Cubby Bear, for instance

Oddly enough, you'll never guess who's world Champion in my WWE Ewr game.....Jeff Jarrett...stupid morale problems, too many main eventers

his opinions are generally full of shit.. based on utter shit and made up crap.... him stating other opinions are probably better than stating his own....

How is that your opinion if you don't watch the shows? All you know is what other people tell you. Here's a little tip just for life in general: Don't form opinions on something you don't hear or see - don't take other people's word as yours. Use your own head to come up with something.

Oddly enough, I'm sure you're aware that WWE actually hit its all time high in 2000 when Russo was no longer around. It's not about highest rated segments and such - it's about drawing money. Russo had 3 years in WWE to get it done (and he did indeed get it done). You have given Dutch 2 weeks.

Here'e a little tip if you ever decide to get into journalism (Because, lest we forget, I'm a Journalist)

Respect other people's opinions, even if you don't like them. One day, you'll be interviewing someone who you dislike, but youll need to drag 500 words out of them. Also, most of the time, youll need them to come up with a story, so, your like....wrong, in that regard.

Also, as for the whole....not watching things, therefore i know jackshit.- None of us watch Smackdown, and yet we all know it sucks balls - how does that work

Being a journalist doesn't mean your opinions any more valid than anyone else's. In fact your opinion here has little credibility since you don't watch the product.

1. I won't be getting into journalism as I have already gotten my degree from college and am an engineer. I think I'll make my username, tdindc1111, mechanical engineer. You might want to start reading my posts to see how to use proper grammar and spelling though.

2. Smackdown has quality wrestling. If anyone says it sucks balls without watching it, that's wrong.

3. HHH was a great worker then. He's not now.

Look man - you're entitled to you opinions. But everyone keeps throwing a lot of info out there proving them wrong. At some point maybe you'll realize that. If my opinion is "Hitler was awesome," does that mean I'm right just because it's my opinion and I'm entitled to that?
