Didn't Flair give Foley a good run as Tag Champ with Kevin Sullivan?

No I've run into the Bret guy on other boards. He's actually somewhat coherent here unlike the other place.

If you go to general there's some Hogan Mania guy that advertised a board that this Bret guy ran. So I think he's most likely that guy.

Yeah, he did. But what happened after the "Loser leaves town match" between Foley and Sullivan? Bobby Heenan, on camera, said "Cactus is out back with a sign that says "Will wrestle for food," or something to that effect. And then Tony laughed! I don't know if Flair was still running the show then, but I call that burying somebody. All I can say is read Have a Nice Day. Flair has yet to deny any of the charges Foley made.

Most of you think HHH is not holding down Flair and Flair should have retired a long time ago well thats just your view guys and its nothing wrong with saying my views.

Bottom line is Flair gets much more airtime when HHH is not around

Not really, the reign only lasted something like a few weeks as Sullivan and Jack pretty much lit a surprising amount of fire out of The Nasty Boys at Slamboree (which is just about the greatest brawl in WCW history) only to have the belts taken away like a month later by Pretty Wonderful. Basically Jack and Sullivan were never even given a chance to be champions before their legs were cut out from underneath them. In his book, Jack relates that as WCW was doing tapings something like a month ahead of when the shows would be aired, he basically had the belts a day before they found out Roma and Orndorff would be getting them.

Still that's better than what anyone else had done with him up till that point.

Triple H holding down Flair? Do you honestly believe that Hunter could hold down a legend

like the Nature Boy? Oh please. He can still wrestle a damn good match but not on a regular basis... Flair is playing the role of a mentor right now.

Hell it beats Vince's original Manson idea for him too.

Every time Flair pulls away from HHH Ric Flair gets more airtime and ring time but everytime Flair is with HHH he just goes on about how HHH is the man but I know HHH could have never holded Flair down in his prime.

OF COURSE Flair gets more air time when HHH is not around. When HHH is not around it only makes sense that Flair is the mouthpiece for Evolution. Christ, are you that dense?

PS - "HOLDED" IS NOT A WORD!

I'll give you a hint: Held. HELD. Say it with me now... H-E-L-D...HELD!

Foley. I don't remember all the particulars though as it's been a long time since I've read Foley's first book.

Someone else should be able to go into greater depth about the gimmick though.

 Charles Manson idea? For Flair? Or Foley?

Back when Mick first joined the WWF, they were coming up with names for the Mankind character and Vince said his name was going to be "Manson the Mutilator" until Foley came up with the Mankind name.

Thank god Mick Foley had the name Mankind and not that other crap Vince came up with.

Ric Flair has done so much for wrestling and he didnt bust his ass so fans could just tell him to retire when he gets older.

Wouldn't a PR guy be able to spell and use proper grammer.

Seriously. All you have to do is go to an indy show and you can watch some of these guys humiliate themselves for $50. Why would anyone wish that on any wrestler?

Not enough to read a book by Foley. :P

Now that's what I call a comeback! :D Nice to see some people on the 'net have a sense of humor. By the way, it is a good book. You should pick it up in the bargain bin. It's a real page turner.
