Guest CronoT Report post Posted November 11, 2003 The song they used for the package was Carmina Burana: O Fortuna. I think it was appropriate, because that song is about an ancient battle between the forces of good and evil.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Kane is the good guy. He is the one who fights oppression (be it Stone Cold, JR, Linda McMahon, or Shane McMahon). He was the first victim (created by Stone Cold and RVD - and to a greater extent, by Taker and Paul Bearer - and to an even greater extent - society). And Shane is a McMahon - evil by default. That's why the song is appropriate.... In the ancient battle, good and evil battle until neither side is sure which is which, and both sides simply give up and stop fighting. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 The video package was cool, but it definitely needed an active talent in place of Shane though.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Aside from the music, I thought the package was pretty bad. But that's mainly cause the feud itself was bad.

Guest Megatron Report post Posted November 11, 2003 That song was also UT's entrance theme for WM14. And who was his opponent? Kane.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 To make the vid package a real winner, they must include footage of Kane and Shane's date.

Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Seriously. It's clear now this feud was never about hate. It's always been about their unrequited man love, with violence the only way to reach out to each other.
justsoyouknow 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2003 Did Kane go into the restaraunt in his ring gear? Did he just throw a smoking jacket over his singlet? I'm intrigued.

The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 "Carmina Burana: O Fortuna" was also used in the video package for the main event of Invasion, and yes, it is a sweet tune.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 Did Kane go into the restaraunt in his ring gear? Did he just throw a smoking jacket over his singlet? I'm intrigued. Kane admitted that the reason why he shocked Shane's nuts was to ruin any chance of Shane having children. And that anything he's making love to his wife Shane thinks of Kane. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2003 Shane's wife is pregnant, right? Yeah but, I don't think she is in storyline terms. Cause Kane asked Shane if he was able to get his wife pregnant and all Shane did was give him a pissed off look and Kane just laughed.
Guest CronoT Report post Posted November 12, 2003 Okay, so let's do a recap of things that WWE has in a way told impressionable youth it's okay to do: 1. Slam old ladies headfirst into steel ductwork. 2. Set people with facial deformalities on fire. 3. Attempted murder, twice. 4. Torture by electrocution. 5. Coming up this Sunday: Beating someone up until they can no longer even move. So remind me, why does Vince have EVERY parental watchdog group in the country up his ass? EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2003 Something else. Shane mentioned that whoever loses "is never coming back", so I hope that means that after SS we won't see Shane for a long time. Also Shane did briefly mention Kane's "brother", which we haven't heard them say in a long time. And UT is facing Vince at the PPV so I have feeling Shane is going to get involved in the Vince/UT match or Kane is.
