B.) When people do post, feedback is rarely left to the person who wrote whatever. C.) Has a dumb name. D.) No one has posted there for at least ten days and has no topics show up on the original cut off day. I.E Dead.

Either way, it's not holding any other folders back from appearing on the board, so it's doing no harm. If the lack of posting bothers you, then post something in it.

I use to be able to check it out a few months (If everyones wondering, my old dumb name "Real Nosferatu" doesn't work for some reason so I created a new registration) and find some stuff, some good, some bad and was able to pass a little time. Now it's just...eh. Just an opinion though.
The Czech Republic Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 The last post in Column Corner is now November 2, 24 days since a post. It's starting to look as busy as UGS. (ducks) I say change Column Corner to a folder concerned with scholarly pursuits, so those of us in high school and college have a place to discuss our studies, ask for help from one another, etc. Hey, it would get more traffic than it is now.

I actually think Czech Republic's idea as a writing in general forum is quite good, and maybe if it had been proposed to Dames rather than suddenly posted there it might have worked. I think it should be put into consideration for here though.

Guest Waldo Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Here's an idea - When you reach 10,000 posts you get a folder in "The Column Corner" - you can use it for blogs, columns, rants, reviews, whatever. It would be a nice reward for experienced posters, and something for newer posters to shoot for.
