haVoc 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2003 411's Byte This Report: Eddie Guerrero, Matt Hardy, Matt Morgan Find enclosed an exclusive Byte This Matt Fact. Here we go again. Hosts today are the original originals – not the new originals: Dr. Tom Pritchard and Josh Matthews, who both strongly agree that Josh is the best. They pimp the new Smackdown magazine, the first issue of which Josh holds in his lovely hands. No Tazz today as he is working with the homeless in the Hook, but we are joined by Droz! He’s feeling good and glad that Dr. Tom is back in the studio after the civil disobedience last week. Droz is going to be in therapy for another two weeks. However, he had his triceps stemmed which is a big jump for him as he can finally use them. On Survivor Series, with all the blood that Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon spilt, they could have set up a blood bank! It was a competition to see who could bleed the most, and Droz believes Vince won. Dr. Tom and Droz agree that Taker being buried by the Undertaker left everyone stunned and shocked. Kane is on a path of destruction, where will it end? Droz’ impressions of Matt Morgan? He was pleasantly surprised. For a new guy, he was decent – and looked comfortable in the ring. Droz wishes that Dr. Tom could have been there last week – two Texans are better than one! Dr. Tom imagines that the show would have ended with Josh bent over the end of the desk. (I’ll tell you what; the last two weeks have been priceless for subliminal or not so subliminal Bradshaw jokes. Too bad none of the main guys watch Byte This (or read this report!)) Surprise phone call from Matt Hardy V.1ahh! He says its good to be back on RAW, which has officialy been injected with Mattitude. As for the mock proposal, it was Matt’s ticket onto Raw via Eric Bischoff. Matt’s thoughts on Shannon Moore remaining on Smackdown are that he’s glad the Mfer has a chance to be his own man. He has every chance of succeding on his own. On a side note, Dr. Tom explains that Josh is an Mfer, but not a follower of Mattitude. The Sensei of Mattitude has had a chance to preview John Cena’s forthcoming rap album and says it’s good. He even had a chance to guest star on one of the tracks. Tom from Philly asks whether in real life (real life, what?) Matt’s going to marry Lita. Matt reckons so, and thanks Vince McMahon for allowing the move to RAW. Onto brother Jeff, Matt says he’s doing well. They all got together a while ago and Amy (Lita) cooked dinner for everyone. Lovely. Jeff was going to play a concert with his band recently, but was forced to cancel. However, Matt says, whether his music career works out or not, Jeff will certainly be back in the WWE. On his new career on RAW – he now has an opportunity to work with many new people. He prefers RAW as it’s live and has no safety net, anything can happen. On whom he wants to work with, Matt picks Flair, HBK, Booker (!), RVD, Jericho and Christian. As for his few weeks off while in the ‘transitional stage’, he said he had a great time. It was the first time in the five years on the road that he had some time off work without actually being injured. However, Matt says it’s dangerous to stay off work, as he might grow to like it too much. It was also good to give his body a break. On the recent death of Crash Holly, Matt was able to go to his funeral, along with Lita and Shane Helms. Of all the recent wrestling deaths, Crash’s has hit him the hardest, as they worked side by side for so long and travelled together. He sends his prayers out to Michael Lockwood’s daughter. Mitch from Iowa asks who would be his dream opponent at WrestleMania. As legends go, he would like to face HHH, Flair or HBK. He also namechecks Christian, RVD and Jericho, as he could put on a really good match with them – anything with a good storyline. And the exclusive Matt Fact – Matt likes Mondays better than Thursdays! Subtle. Josh has ADD and Dr. Tom will be eating duck for Thanksgiving. Byte This welcomes Matt Morgan, who’s doing pretty well. Matt says it was a nervewracking experience being called up and being put in the biggest team in Survivor Series history. It all happened so fast, the last three weeks have been a blur. To be part of Surivior Series was an honour, according to Matt, but to be part of such a match as that was even more so. Matt says Brock has taken him under his wing a little. He understands the difference between OVW and WWE. Matt Morgan’s still working for OVW though, and did a taping last night. On wrestling so close to his hometown recently, that was the second biggest thing that’s happened to him. As for adjusting to the Smackdown locker room, so far so good. A lot of the veterans have gone out of their way to give him insight into the profession. John J asks for Matt’s goals now he’s on the Smakdown roster. He’s taking it day by day, but obvioulsy his ultimate goal is the WWE Title. On Matt’s background in basketball, he played for a high school team in Hawaii, and believes he could beat Mark Jindrack’s highest vertical leap. Justin from Ohio asks who he’s looking forward to wrestling. Matt would like to face the Undertaker, who has set the bar for ‘big men’ in the industry. Dr. Tom explains that after trying various avenues into wrestling, Matt was picked for Tough Enough. Matt says he has kept in contact with Jake, who has been trying to get inot Slamball on TNN (drawing a sarcastic “great” comment from Dr. Tom). But Matt has mostly kept in contact with the now Shaniqua. On his experiences on the road, Matt reveals that his policy is ‘put up and shut up’ and just learn. Andrew from Philly asks who his ideal tag team partner at WrestleMania would be. Suprisingly, he would choose Nathan Jones, as they have been working a lot together, and also have the same intensity. Matt Morgan leaves, but we are joined by Eddie Guerrero, who’s doing wel but is confused as to Chavo’s current mentality. They’re not at the point where they see eye-to-eye, something that happens to every team though. Eddie’s the elder, and more understanding – and believes it’ll all work out in the end. Caller Jimmy asks what a Thanksgiving is like in the Guerrero family. Eddie believes it’s like a pay per view in itself! Get togethers are a lot of fun due to pranksters, and there is a little bit of volatility, but nothing major. Becky from Conneticut asks what Eddie’s first night in the WWE was like. He was very nervous, as it was his dream to come to the WWE and wanted to do the best he could. “Is Eddie Guerrero coming to your area? Buy him a car!” On a possible autobiography, if he’s asked then he would say yes. However, it would be more personal, as he feeles he has something he can offer, due to the issues he has expereienced in his life. Brian of Missouri asks whether he prefers being a heel or a face. Eddie replies that, while he feelshe works better as a heel, he never believed he would be in the poition that he is today – where he is cheered, but can turn on the heat at any time. Eddie believes that when the timer is right, that he will receive a title reign. He would love to have a feud wth Rey Mysterio, but doesn’t feel it will happen for a while. At WrestleMania XX, he would like to face Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit, but mostly just wants to be on the card. On how his team with Art Barr compares with his teaming with Chavo, Eddie says they are too different to judge. He and Art wrestled in a different era, which was a blessing that makes him a better wrestler today. Eddie is also at a loss for words when asked how the amount of tragic wrestling deaths can be reduced. In relation to his own situation, he says the wrestling business is a difficult one, but it has to be done. He is thankful to the WWE for sending him to rehab and giving him an opportunity to turn his life around. Eddie leaves and the Byte This guy’s say farewell for a fortnight.
