Stuff I've posted on trades occuring or free agent signings has been true. I've said I get my stuff from local sports radio shows and also the Boston Herald is pretty good on stuff too. I got sick of relaying stuff when somebody made it their sole priority to try to prove me wrong.

I've never said you posted anything that was wrong. I just thought it was kind of comical you came in claiming to be a guru. People who make claims like that often do them with nothing behind them. I also think you overreacted to people discussing what you posted and questioning it -- you rarely posted your sources, so you really can't expect someone to take the words of some chap on a messageboard at face value.

Besides, I've always thought "flaming" was a ridiculously overrated messageobard offense, as the words of strangers on a computer screen just shouldn't mean that much. The reason my member title is what it is stems from a poster called "BRUCE." He and I got into it and he kept saying I was abusing my powers, which was rather humorous considering the easiest way for me to do that would have simply been to ban him. But I didn't, and he kept saying I was a power abuser. He ended up getting banned, anyway, but not for that.

The difference (well, one of the many) is that I don't need to trademark my car for it to be mine. It's in my name, and there are ample records of me paying for it. Public doman vs. copyrighted/trademarked material isn't the same thing. If something on a website is not trademarked/copyrighted, and the site owners aren't making money off it, then someone can link to it. They don't need to ask permission -- it's implied, since the content is public domain.

Its kind of hard to link people to sound waves. If that technology is developed and somebody buys it for me then by all means I'll link ya.
