HE SLEIGHS US: Bill Goldberg is coming to Edmonton in January but before you go planning a road trip, he won't be defending his world heavyweight championship or appearing as part of a wrestling card.

Goldberg's visit to Oilers country will be to shoot Santa's Sleigh, a festive action-comedy movie in which the former Atlanta Falcon plays a not-so-jolly St. Nick.

"What better setting for a 280-pound Jewish guy to play Santa Claus and go around killing everybody?" the champ said in an interview.

"It's going to be cool. I can't wait."

Goldberg is currently appearing in theatres as a villain in the live action Bugs Bunny flick, Looney Tunes: Back In Action.

I also read that this film will be a low budget one and will feature Dennis Haskins as an evil pastor. ( :headbang: )

Another crappy Santa-hating movie?

Goldberg needs to stick to wrestling, because his acting makes Alicia Silverstone look good.

I read this about a week ago, and while I think it's pretty ridiculous that all these Rock-wannabes are trying to get into acting, I think this movie actually has potential to be funny.

Hell, even if the movie turns out shitty, I guess you can still laugh at 'Berg for failing.

You know, Dustin Diamond is a huge WWE mark. Haskins has the Goldberg connection. If the McMahon's need a month off from the grueling PPV schedule we could see that Belding/Screech feud we have all been dying to see.

Man fuck that. A Zack/Screech feud is were the money's at. Remember when Zack starting dating Lisa and how Screech wanted to fight him?

Of course, but I was trying not to spoil the proposed screw job!
