DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2003 I'm really hoping someone in the UK can help me with this one. Basically, I've got tickets for a wrestling show in Leamington tomorrow night for a promotion called All-Star Wrestling, which hypes the "All-Stars of American Wrestling versus the Best of the British". I know the show features Robbie Brookside (one of the main reasons I bought the ticket), but I was wondering if anyone knew WHICH American stars would be there. The All-Star site lists wrestlers who tour for them, including the American Dragon, Chad Collyer, Slyk Wagner Brown, Shark Boy and Legend, but I was wondering if anyone knew who was booked for this tour. Thanks guys
Guest OSIcon Report post Posted November 24, 2003 Dragon won't be there. He is on a New Japan tour that started yesterday.
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 Could be anyone, though i doubt it'd be more than one "big" name at a time. I went to an All-Star show early this year and the biggest American name was The American Avalanche P.N Neusz (anyone remember the Rapmaster from early 90s WCW? That was him). Oh, and Wildcat Robbie Brookside sucks, by the way. Mind you, the show I saw had Jody Fleisch on. And if you're wondering why Dean 2 Extreme is in the main event (which he may well be), it's because he's fucking the promoter's daughter (the ring announcer)... Holy shit! Everyone wants to be like HHH these days, unfortunately.
DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 Oh God, if it is PN News I may well cry. I wasn't really expecting the American Dragon to come to Leamington (if you've been to Leamington, you'll understand why), but I guess I'll find out just who the US star is tonight and hopefully the Wildcat will put on a good show (last time I saw him, I thought he was pretty good, he may be one of those hot/cold workers)
DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 God, we didn't even get PN News. The sole "American Star" was the Brooklyn Brawler. Not Steve Lombardi, oh no, but some guy who looked like a thin Rosey, who sucked. In fact it all sucked until after the interval, when we got a decent Robbie Brookside ladder match (which is quite impressive considering he was facing some local lunkhead, whose acned back showed me he'd been taking a few supplements) and a pretty good Frankie Sloan/JONNY STORM vs Lee Butler/Wildman Whiplash match. Dean 2 Extreme wasn't even there, but from what MikeofEvil said, nor was his wife, because our ring announcer looked like a fat John Virgo. Nice to see that, out of the 12 wrestlers who fought tonight, less than half actually appeared in the programme too
Garth 0 Report post Posted November 26, 2003 I actually missed an all star show that came to Salisbury last month because i was working, and American Dragon and Jonny Storm were both on the card. I knew they were both working for all star at the time my i just thought as Salisburys only little they wouldn't bother bringing in the bigger stars for the show. But i was wrong and i was so pissed off with myself afterwards.
