Ace309 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 ^^^^ You know the deal. Michael Craven Promo: This seemed eerily reminiscent of the Xstasy promo at Ashes 2 Ashes. Wildchild vs. Grappler: Cute little promo to start the match off. I love Grap's oldschool character, complete with manager who calls people "Daddy." I was very impressed with the match, particularly the use of Matheson. I also like the continued development of WC's style and seeing it regress back to the original crowd-pleasing style marked by the FSP finish. Stryke vs. Linchpin: I find the Linchpin character, particularly his interaction with the fans. He's a bad person, but they love him. I also love the Diamond Cutter-ness of the Shining Wizard, being built as something that can be hit out of anywhere. Ejiro Fasaki vs. Ichiban Onita: "Vicious" means "vicious." "Viscous" means "thick." Just fyi. Fine little match. I would have liked it a little more if you focused on Annie's ribs and back, since that's the epic injury she's worked into her character, but the match was very well put together. I applaud you. More later.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2003 I'd like to apologize for no showing, as I said to Raynor. I expected to get back from the hospital in enough time to write the other half of my match, but lo and behold, my body doesn't react well with anesthesia. Great job to Wildchild, though. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2003 It wasn't a great show overall, but it was average, I did like Craven promo and Fasaki vs Onita match, but not much focus on the injury as pointed out. There has been better, and I'm not one to say I'm better, personaly I think I suck.
Dace59 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2003 I've already spoken to Tom about his match. I had a little problem with the selling of his table bumps and I agree with him about the finish being a bit suddent. But over all, it kicked ass. Some of the spots where great, like X's Splits to spread Tom's legs and the Baseball Slide Headscissors. Then ending was great and nasty too. A good bump and a slighty different end to a table's match. I loved Ejiro's match and just the sheer evilness in it. Certainly some of the best stuff around. Makes me worry if I win the ICTV title, my first defenese will be against him. I like WC's return to his old style as well and the opeing spotting was a nice little touch which caughty my eye. Linchpin is... interesting to say the least. Fun to read.
