Guest Coffey Report post Posted November 27, 2003 So, does the Gamecube come with (a) controller(s)? That picture is pretty misleading....

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 Tomorrow, the GameCube will finally become my 12th system courtesy of this great deal at Wal-Mart. However, I need to know (since I might not be going to get it myself)- Are there any decent third party memory cards at Wal-Mart for $10 or less? $20 is a little steep for the official Nintendo one (the only one listed on the site) since I'll be getting the system, Mario Kart, and possibly a cheap DVD player already. I went with the official 251 block one, and it seems to be holding up very well. Ugh...I went up towards my Wal-Mart...store's yet to open, but there's a line waaaay out that wraps around a side of the stores. I don't know if all of them came to get a Cube or if there's other big deals they're anticipating, but I figure that demand is going to outpace supply, and besides--money=time. It's not worth it to me.
Guest Ahhee Report post Posted November 28, 2003 I just came back empty handed. I waded through sea after sea of hilljacks to find out all they had in were gone lickity split. I can't believe I woke up for this shit. Good luck to anyone else trying.

{''({o..o})''} 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 Ah, I wish this deal started last week. I just got my friend a Gamecube for his birthday. But I've given up on shopping today, I'll never top piefaceing a grandma for a furby.
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 Well, I picked up a Jet Black GameCube a couple hours ago at Wal-Mart along with Mario Kart: Double Dash!!!. I played the demo disc to get familiar with the controller, and everything on there is awesome, especially TMNT. That brings back memories. I just completed every course on Time Trial, and after this cigarette break I'm delving into the Grand Prix mode. I haven't had this much fun with anything not involving a woman in years! I got very little sleep last night and I'm VERY tired, but I just want to play forever. It's like Christmas morning when I was a child- New system, new games, and it's even snowing. This reminds me why I've loved gaming for 17 years... And damn, I haven't even played the Zelda disc yet. This is great.
Guest hhheld_down Report post Posted November 28, 2003 i already own a gamecube, but i must say this is a great deal. I wouldnt go fight the crowds today for one, its not worth it to me. I have only been shopping the day after thanksgiving once and it was horrible and I refuse to go again. I feel sorry for everyone that has to work today at any convience store.
