I think its the AP (or the ESPN Poll, one or the other) who doesn't necessarily have to recognize the BCS champion as the Champion for them. If USC was #1 in their poll and didn't play in the Sugar Bowl, but won their Bowl game, they could claim USC the national Championship despite whatever happens in the Sugar Bowl. Yes the AP has no connection to the BCS so they can vote whoever they want. If USC gets shut out of the Sugar Bowl and beats Michigan in the Rose Bowl that will cause as split national champion. The Coaches' poll has to automatically vote #1 the winner of the so-called national championship game. I'm marking out like a mother fucker over the possibilities. Goodbye BCS...we hardly knew you. They've proven all throughout the season that they are that good. And for some reason they come to this game tonight with there heads up there ass. WHAT HAPPENED!? They aren't this bad. They proved that against all the other teams they've faced this year! Well Oklahoma is gonna drop to #3 in both voting polls although I would doubt any further. USC is going to be #1 in both polls tommorrow and LSU #2 but the question is will USC get shut out? It's not like they're undefeated. The fact that OU went undefeated through the season proves something. OU has dominated the season. 1 loss shouldn't immediately disqualify them. It is still beyond me how OU can suddenly suck after this yet USC is still the greatest team ever despite not dominating the season like OU and having 1 loss just like OU.
