Swift Terror 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2003 from tvguide.com: It looks like CBS wants to milk its M*A*S*H cow a little more. According to Variety, the network is mulling a behind-the-scenes M*A*S*H movie titled M*A*S*Hback. The project would cast new actors in the classic roles and tell the story from Larry Gelbart's pilot script to the death of McLean Stevenson's character, Lt. Col. Henry Blake. What the hell is the deal here? Are they rehashing the same material as before, or is this show going to be about the actors, writers, and producers while they go about making the show? Either way, this looks painfully bad.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2003 Either way, it sounds dumb. I shall stick to my M*A*S*H Season 1-3 DVD sets.
Guest SideFXs Report post Posted December 3, 2003 Hell, I would probably watch it. When I surf the cable guide and see M.A.S.H. I immediately push select and watch. It's still good. My favorite episode: When Colonel Potter is the last survivor in the group of buddies, from WWI. I find it refreshing that they are trying anything, except another reality T.V. show. arg! Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 3, 2003 I love the movie and series but I will most likely be skipping this.

Slingshot Suplex 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2003 So they want to film a movie about the behind the scenes filming of the tv show? No good can come of this. Really.

The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2003 To the person who liked an episode about Colonel Potter: Bah. M*A*S*H ended when Henry Blake's helicopter went down, as far as I'm concerned. I remember when I was younger and I would watch Fox Kids on channel 32 in Chicago, and M*A*S*H reruns would usually be on at some point during the day on that channel. And I would ask my parents, "Mom, Dad, is this show good?" and my dad said "Only up until Henry Blake dies." And even in elementary school back in 1993 I knew that if Klinger wasn't in a dress, change the channel.
