Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted December 9, 2003 I don't have a date on it but it was an early 80's match in All Japan: Ted Dibiase vs. Jumbo Tsuruta

TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2003 DiBiase vs Savage at Wrestlefest 88. It was cut out of the commercial release(god knows why considering it was for the WWF title) so not many have seen it.

Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted December 10, 2003 Ted Dibiase Vs. Shawn Michaels (Rocker era) on the first WWF Hottest Matches tape. The rest of the tape is boring crap (other than an OK Rockers/Orient Express match), but Dibiase and Shawn go nearly 20 minutes in a GREAT match.
Guest Frank_Nabbit Report post Posted December 10, 2003 I assume not many of you have seen pre 1987 Dibiase?
Guest Ray Report post Posted December 10, 2003 My knowledge of DiBiase matches is woefully inadequate. One of the few DiBiase matches I've seen is vs. Owen Hart - SNME 3/11/89. Very fun match. Ted lets Owen get some fun offense in, and sells for him. You know who's going to win this, but Ted still makes Owen look good.
Guest krazykat72 Report post Posted December 10, 2003 the Dibiase/ Savage cage match from 6/88 on the Macho Madness tape is really, really good. That;s the same tape with the above mentioned Wrestlefest match on it. The Flair/ Dibiase match, IMO wasn't a great match, but was a great angle with Dibiase trying to overcome ridiculous odds and bleeding like a pig to keep up with the Champ. -Paul Jacobi-

That was the first match I ever saw, and the one that got me hooked on wrestling. Holy shit, me too. I thought I was alone in that category. I still remember watching WM 4 and the first match I fully saw was DiBiase/Savage. I just loved it and it got me hooked on pro-wrestling. Oddly enough, DiBiase became my favorite wrestler over all (I was never a Hulkamaniac), because I remember seeing Hogan basically cheat to get Savage the win, and I hated him for that. DiBiase was such a great heel. DiBiase/Tsuruta? Damn, I need to find that. DiBiase's mid-south work (AWA?) is great. Just wondering, but did Ted ever wrestle Stan Hansen? I have a feeling I've seen it somewhere. DiBiase is definitely my favorite wrestler of the Hogan-era. I also liked DiBiase vs. Roberts at WM 6 for some reason. I am pretty sure that they did in Mid South. But I know that Dibiase/Hansen were definately All Japan Tag Champions before though.

Guest The Midnight Rocking Warrior Report post Posted December 16, 2003 I like Benoit, but Dibiase and Jake Roberts are my two favorite wrestlers to never win a world title, They are also two of the greatest heels ever. The difference is: Dibiase's two main heel highlights: Winning the King of the ring in 1988 And defeating LOD to win the wwe world tag titles And Jake's two main highlights as a heel: Pinning Sting in wcw ( Clash 20) Defeating George Wells ( HUH?!) I always feel bad the Jake messed up his career
