MTV's "Made"

This is definetely my favorite MTV show. Who else has seen it, and if so, what is your favorite "made"?

I just saw the one where where the abercrombie girl wants to be a bmx biker. When she finally hit that flip, I was on my feet cheering her. Well maybe not, but it did make me pump my fist.

 

I guess my next question would be, if you could get your own episode of "Made" about you, what would you be "made" into? I think I would choose to become a pro tennis player. I'm a recreational player, and I read the magazines, and watch the tournaments on tv, but once winter comes, I don't even touch the racket. I would like to have some grizzled old russian pro to come along and train me, and eventually win some small tournament.

 

By far the stupidest episode would be where the dorky high school band the Sly Caps wants to win that battle of the bands.

I would be made into an OU football player. I never got the chance to play football in Junior High and High School(parents wouldn't pay and kept telling me I didn't have time which I really didn't) and now I'm in college and I have time to play. But I've never played before in my life. So I couldn't really make a National Champion material football team.

But that's what I'd want to be Made into.

I watched the show. The 3 girls who wanted to be popular by being made into cheerleader, school prez, prom queen were entertaining because they did it for the wrong reasons.

 

If I was to be MADE it would be Kung Fu Master. My MADE would be like a clusterfuck of a Gordon Liu, Karate Kid, Sidekick reality show.

They were supposed to do that show at my old high school this year, but then the day everyone was supposed to audition and hundreds of people showed up after school the principal decided that they didn't want cameras in the school and cancelled everything. I don't really care, but it would have been funny if they had done it a few years ago when I went there.

Heh... I saw the girl that wanted to be a beauty queen a couple months ago. She was working at the pizza place in Dartmouth (I believe it's Sbarro).

 

I went to pay for my grease trap of a cheese pizza, recognized her, and said, "Whoa, you're the girl from Made!"

 

She kinda blushed and said, "Yeah."

 

I told her I felt bad that she got fifth in the beauty contest and that she deserved better. At this point she giggled halfheartedly and left.

Yeah I loved that one. Good with a slacker and he just looked like a damn fool. And the guy that was helping him with his classes was an ex-con that looked mad and he took shit from no one. Of course, the kid had to piss him off at every turn.

Off topic for a moment, what the hell is that scene from in your sig? And was it any good?

 

It kinda looks like Equilibrium with Christian Bale, but I wanted to find out if it was and if it was any good.

How long has MADE been on the air now? Is this like the third season?

Equilbrium...great movie. The fight scenes are way over the top, and fun to watch. I highly reccomend it.

 

I think this is season 2 of Made...but I'm not 100% sure.

The Sly Caps one was the best in my opinion, I can't believe they lost the Battle of the Bands at the end. They were so much better than the nu-metal band that beat them. I still get their "hit" song stuck in my head occassionally....in fact I have it in there right now.

The closest thing I've seen to what you've described is an episode of "Camp Jim" (Made's spin off that's all about wannabe cheerleaders) where a fat black chick ends up not making the A-team but the B team and the aforementioned Sly Caps episode, where they didn't win the Battle of the Bands. Both had happy endings however (Sly Caps ended up becoming somewhat cool around their high school and Jim reassured the fat black chick that the B team was alright for a newcomer)
