GROUP 1 WINNER: The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid) - 27 The Rockers (Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty) - 13 GROUP 2 WINNER: The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) - 27 Edge and Christian - 14 GROUP 3 WINNER: The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart) - 30 The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) - 11 GROUP 4 WINNER: Owen Hart and British Bulldog - 24 The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin) - 16 Anybody besides me sort of surprised that The Road Warriors, who I personally thought would go all the way and win the tournament, lost by the most votes out of every team here?...The next round should be interesting...And should be posted in mere moments...
CanadianChris Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 Anybody besides me sort of surprised that The Road Warriors, who I personally thought would go all the way and win the tournament, lost by the most votes out of every team here? Pfft. The Roadies didn't even belong in the final 8, really. You put two of the three best teams ever against each other back in round one.

I would have to say that I am not that surprised. They were GREAT in kayfabe terms, but to smarks there about 10 teams at least better than they were.
