spoiler for No Way Out 2004

Hi!

Do you remember Raymond Rougeau ? He was part of the Rougeau Brothers team along with Jacques and also former french announcer. He still works for WWF, in WWF Canada. And he's a good friend of mine. I met him during a WWF Tour in Paris in 1993 and we have been in touch since then. I have visited him many times in Montreal. Well, he's a friend of mine and we talked over the phone yesterday. He told me that Vince McMahon was rather upset that NWO 2002 can't be held in Edmonton because the plan was for Benoit finally getting the WWE Title in his hometown. Now the plan is for Guerrero taking on Lesnar at this PPV and Benoit getting the title at Summerslam 2004 in Toronto. However, please keep in mind that all of this are not set in stone and are just tentative plan.

WWE do not plan that far ahead - its taken WMXX for them to plan 4 months for an event.

As far as wrestlers being planned to win big titles in hometowns....its not the 80's any more.

I'll believe it when I see it. Until something actually happens, it's a rumor and nothing more.

I'm sorry, but ever since Booker T has lost title matches in Houston EVERY TIME they've gone through, I don't buy it.

Well, that would be AWESOME. Can you imagine 68,774 roaring fans erupting in joy upon seeing Chris Benoit FINALLY win the WWE World Title at SummerSlam -- the second biggest PPV of the year!

Personally, I would rather have Benoit win the title at SSlam as opposed to a throwaway pre-Wrestlemania PPV like No Way Out.

So how long until Rougeau's website releases a statement saying "Mr. Rougeau never said this, and we would appreciate if this statement is taken down. This was an imposter who talked to Mr. Reshad. Not the Fabulous Rougeau." Reshad will apologize, but continue to say that it must have been Rougeau because his answers on the telephone were so convincing, and he's talked to him before.

Unfortunately, Rougeau will still be punished. He will then be depushed by being forced to make the coffee for the booking team instead of actually pouring it into their cups. This will ruin any future SPOILING~! plans he may have had.

Some serious drama will be GOIN DOWN AT TSM!

I have always never understood how Meltzer and keller can get all their news from people inside WWF without management noticing it and firing this people.

BTW, Raymond Rougeau still works for WWE but in a minor capacity. he has very little things to loose and I don't think a obscure post on this obscure forum will ever get to the WWF management. Anyway, he allows me to post this information so :

1) maybe he is trying to fool me but I really doubt it

2) he is trying to fool us by using me but again I really doubt it

3) he is confident that this information won't get him any troubles. that's my personal choice.

For those wondering why I don't get scoops daily fom him, please remember that he works for them in a minor capacity and this information is related to WWF Canada

Rougeau told me that Bret Hart is coming back to lead a new Hart invasion in 2005 with himself, Jim Neidhart and Teddy. AWESOME! But it's not set in stone yet...

Actually, it sounds pretty sound.

Odds are management isn't exactly confident Crippler would get a huge pop once he won the title so they put him in a place where they KNOW they will get this huge pop thus making the title seem important.

I've heard worst ideas.

True or false, I'd like to see it happen.

Wasn't I right ?

From The Law:

Because Triple H and Randy Orton are scheduled to have a World Title match at Wrestlemania, Orton is favored to win the Royal Rumble.

There's also an outside chance that either Chris Benoit or John Cena will win it; however, both are unlikely at this point. Chris Benoit was originally scheduled to win the WWE Title at No Way Out since it was originally supposed to emanate from Edmonton, Alberta -- Benoit's hometown. Vince McMahon was quite upset upon discovering that he couldn't book NWO at the Edmonton Center due to scheduling conflicts. Benoit's WWE Title win, however, won't be canceled; it will be postponed until SummerSlam 2004 at the Toronto Skydome where he's expected to wrestle either Brock or Angle for the belt.

Certainly seems that way - it was just the fact you spoke to Raymond Rougeau to get this info that got me.

I gave you props in the other thread, I just forgot your damn name. Sorry bout that.

And who knew Rougeau would ever have the right information?

I didn't know Rougeau was even with the WWE. Doesn't he, or did, run his own small promotion on Canada? I remember Bret Hart making an appearance at one of his shows.

Who else is on the pay roll up there in Canada?
