Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 13, 2003 Has anyone caught this over the last 6 months or so? It was on this evening and while not presenting anything really new I found it to be a highly entertaining comic history. It's funny that someone always has to be blaming the problems of youth with something. I was highly surprised that comics were selling in the millions per month in the 40/50s though. Steviekick 0 Report post Posted December 13, 2003 Comics sold insanely back then, thanks to lack of television. It was propably the only part of the media aimed at kids. I always miss this special.
Sass 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2003 I was actually shocked to see someone, in this case Darkhorse head honcho Michael Richardson, come out and say how the Watchmen was both good *and* bad for the comic industry. I never thought I would see someone publically be objective towards one of the Holy Grail's of comics.
