Tawren 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2003 It will be the biggest money maker this year. It'll be a big money maker, but it may not have time to catch movies like X-Men 2 and Finding Nemo in 2003. Still, my prediction was dead on: around 120 mil for the 5 day! Woop! I think LoTR will drop to around 50 mil this week, then climb back up for the new year to around 60 mil. Mole 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 Wellllllllllll... Finding Nemo made $339.7 Pirates made $305.3 Matrix Reloaded made $281.5 And Two Towers made $350.5 last year. Return of the King will do better than Nemo.
Tawren 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 They have 11 days to get 210 million to beat Nemo. I doubt they can do it, but if any movie can, it's LoTR. Long-run, hell yeah LoTR will beat Nemo.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2003 (edited) It doesn't matter WHEN they get it, as long as the movie was released in 2003, it's eligible to be the top grossing movie of the year. Edited December 22, 2003 by fazzle
