Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 27, 2003 Can someone explain his Titan love. In the same segment he admits how one dimensional the team is and then the very next sentence he predicts them to be in the Super Bowl. It just blows my mind how you can predict that considering they are one of the worst rushing offenses in the league. I also don't see how he can say that when they lost to the Colts twice and lost to the Patriots as well. I don't see them beating either team. I think the Rams are a bad choice too. They are currently the most overrated team in the league IMO. Martz is still the worst coach in the league and he will cost them any close games with his time and challenge mismanagement. I think any of the other NFC teams could easily knock the Rams out.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2003 In the NFL why not? Anyone is capable of losing there first playoff game.Titans have done it before in the postseason, something the Colts haven't done. The Rams are probably going to have home field, and they haven't lost at home this year. They have also made a Super Bowl under Martz. The Eagles have yet to jump the final hurdle. ANKLELOCK 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2003 I think he just wants to keep his picks from the preseason. I understand his love for McNair, though. The man is the MVP of the league.

Yeah, why would you bet against McNair? And the Pats are as one dimensional as can be and they have a legit shot at the Super Bowl. All you need is a decent to superior defense and a quarterback who doesn't make mistakes with the guts to make plays if he has too. The Titans have both of those pieces and they are solid against the run. Good for him for sticking with the pick.

If you had been watching the Pats games as of late you would have seen that Antwoin Smith is actully running the ball pretty well now. Its starting to look like they were trying to keep him fresh for the stretch run because he's a wrecking ball rusher...meaning he bowls right into defenses and uses the ability of his power to knock them down and keep going. Well most defenses now are getting tired and worn down so that makes Antwoin able to run'em over. Also McNair is injured and the Titans defense is injured as well. Of course the Titans could lose 10 in a row though and they would still be some god like team because McNair plays hurt(even if it doesn't help the team...like the Jets game when he couldn't avoid the pass rush). UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2003 The Eagles are the best team in the NFC. They will win the NFC East Title, receive a bye, and then play Green Bay in the second round, who I predict will upset the Carolina Panthers in the first round. EAGLES/PACKERS RAMS/COWBOYS or VIKINGS I think the Eagles can beat the Rams, and will finally get that Super Bowl birth. They're a better road team, anyway, so they can beat STL. The Cowboys could very well make the NFC Championship game, as well. They play quite well in the dome. St. Louis hasn't been THAT impressive, they've just played pretty well. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2003 Check that, Packers have Broncos tomorrow? Seeds could change to: 1-STL 2-PHIL 3-CAR 4-MINN 5-DAL 6-SEA In that case, its Panthers/Eagles in round 2...and Carolina's gonna get whalloped in Philly. I'd rather Minnesota and Green Bay be in over the Seahawks. So, all I need is the Cowboys to win and the Packers and Vikings to both win and goodbye Seattle. Also, I am a Pats fan so I know that Smith is running amazing right now. But the point I was trying to make is you can still get to and win the Super Bowl with a solid defense and smart QB, which the Titans have. I'm not saying the Titans WILL be in the Super Bowl, I'm just saying picking them isn't exactly a stupid thing to do. Very rarely does it seem the Super Bowl is #1 vs #1. I want the Bengals in dammit!
