Guest Frank Grimes Report post Posted December 28, 2003 According to an Observer/411 article on December 6, Nash's contract expires February 1st. Many are starting to think that Kevin Nash will not be able to return to wrestling. He is not recovering from his recent neck surgery as well as past wrestlers have. Nash's contract expires on February 1st. He is currently getting paid $700,000 a year and it is extremely unlikely that WWE would extend his deal at that rate. Even if he does retire from the ring, WWE will likely offer him sort type of backstage job as a booker or in some other non-wrestling role. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter So, there's apparently just over a month to go.

And do it at the RR just for kicks! As for Lawler.....ship him to Velocity and fire Mr Hugh E Rection

Money, presents, the Super Bowl AND Nash getting the official "get the fuck" from the WWE.

Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2003 Kevolution. Guess who made this joke six months ago. Honestly I didn't even see anyone else do it, it just came to mind. It's just so obvious, and frankly I wouldn't be surprised to see something like it.

Guest Just J Report post Posted December 28, 2003 We reported a while back that Kevin Nash’s WWE contract is set to expire on 12/31. He hasn’t been offered a new contract, so he will no longer be a WWE superstar come Wednesday. There had been some talk that he may work the 1/4/04 HUSTLE-1 event with Scott Hall. However, I can inform you that no agreement has been made, as they were unable to come to terms. However, with it looking like Nash’s WWE days are over, he did say that he would accept a non-wrestling role with WWE, if the money was right. If WWE and Nash couldn’t reach an agreement, he’s made it clear that he would look else where at other promotions --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So this means no more Big Sexy/lazy or whatever you guys have been calling him from 01/01/04 ?? Well no tears from Norway for this one......His wwe run has been a dissapointment, but hey he had has day when he came to the wcw !! But since he had such a high pay check, maybe wwe will "raid" ROH and TNA and get more quality wrestlers ?? I'm talking Sabin, Lynn, Red, Ki, Kash and Styles here ! So from Norway to Nash; Thanks for nothing - Glenn - Shit piss fuck cunt cocksucker motherfucker tits! Vince wastes another opportunity to make the product more entertaining, bastard. Guest gregb7677 Report post Posted December 28, 2003 I'd love Nash to replace King as Raw's Commentator... Any one remember those gems he did on Saturday Nights when NWO "brought" time and he and Scott would commentate the jobber matches in empty arenas? Classic shit. I thought that was some of the funniest stuff I have seen in a long time. ANYTHING would be better right now, than the king's constant whining and his obsession with "puppies"
Toxxic 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2003 Matthews is a decent commentator - not superb, but decent. The trouble is, when you pair him with no-hopers like The Cat or Bill DeMott he tries gamely to carry them but fails. When paired with Tazz or Michael Cole on Velocity (both of whom just kicked back and had a laugh, knowing that no-one from management would be watching) he was great. And in the last few weeks he's been bringing in more obscure references. A couple of weeks ago he mentioned moves reminiscent of those done by Hayabusa and Tiger Mask, both on the same show. As for Cole and Tazz, they're great. Cole actually defers to Tazz's (relatively) recent in-ring experience and asks him how he would counter stuff, etc. As opposed to JR and King who sit there fiddling through their half-assed catchphrases and burying good workers whilst talking about how impressive John Heidenreich is.
