AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 He deserved it even without this game to prove so, IMO. Screw God McNair and his overhyped injuries.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I'm beginning to think Denver didn't know this was a real game cause they are just playing dead. This is brutal to watch. They are making Manning look like he is a football god. He WAS Co-MVP I'd give that he is having a good game if every receiver wasn't wide open by 10 yards. This is looking more like throwing practice than a game. I'd wish Denver would play defense at least some so Manning can pick them apart while they are trying. Cause right now, the Broncos don't even seem to give a damn they are here.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 What's the playoff record for passing TD's in a game? Manning currently has 4 and he threw for 6 vs the Saints earlier in the season
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Manning's stats so far: 12 for 13 for 278 yds. and 4 TDs.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 ahh...there's the Plummer I remember
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 What's the playoff record for passing TD's in a game? Manning currently has 4 and he threw for 6 vs the Saints earlier in the season I'm pretty sure Steve Young's 6 TD passes against San Diego in the Super Bowl is the record.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Is Denver playing Prevent defense??? Manning is going to end up with 600 yards if Denver doesn't wake up.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Manning with 312 yds. and Indy's driving again.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Now Denver forgot how to tackle. Someone better look up all the records can the Colts are going to crush them all. Congrats to the Colts for just slaughtering the "wait, the game started?" Broncos Come on Denver, at least PLAY so the Manning numbers look even better.
Art Sandusky Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 That was about as well-played as Indianapolis could have possibly hoped for.
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 This has the feel of that 62-7 humiliation of the Dolphins a few years back.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I wonder if the Denver defense brought a case of anal lube for this game cause they sure do need it now...
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Jesus...these totals are INSANE Manning: 16/18 327yd 4TD Stokley: 3 catches, 121 yards with 2 TD Harrison: 6 catches, 121 yards with 2 TD Damn....just DAMN. That is some impressive stuff.
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 What's the highest passer rating possible? Because that's what Manning has so far.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 What's the highest passer rating possible? Because that's what Manning has so far. IIRC, it's 150 or so
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 What's the highest passer rating possible? Because that's what Manning has so far. 154 or 155.
Art Sandusky Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 What's the highest passer rating possible? Because that's what Manning has so far. 160.2, I think. Favre had it in the first half of that Raiders game too.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 This has the feel of that 62-7 humiliation of the Dolphins a few years back. My, my... that was one GLORIOUS DAY!
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I thinking Manning's proving he deserved the MVP title all to himself. Holy shit, Mad Dog and I actually agree on something.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Anyone think the Broncos will continue with the delightful cover 2 and Prevent defense in the second half? And the highest possible rating is 158.3
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Who the hell let Vester in this thread? Get that nicca out of here.
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 It is 158.3. I was looking up how they calculate it, and it's insane. If there weren't maximums on the different categories, Manning's rating for the first half would be 225.9.
AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Who the hell let Vester in this thread? Get that nicca out of here. Foo', RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAH! (Oddly enough, me and Flyboy agree on Manning/MVP, too)
HarleyQuinn Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Man...that's outstanding to think what he could have as a rating. Love the Fiona avatar Flyboy *plays Criminal now*
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 It's sad when I turn off the real football game to watch Madden simulated football.
HarleyQuinn Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 If Smith didn't stumble, that'd've been a TD easy
CanadianChris Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 It's sad when I turn off the real football game to watch Madden simulated football. This game is like watching Madden simulated football...with me playing Arizona against the computer's Rams, in St. Louis, on the hardest setting.
