Dr. Tom Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 If you don't want a 2000-yard running back on your team, something's wrong with you. Having a back pile up 2000 yards means you're running a lot, so you're controlling the clock. Because you're controlling the clock, your defense will be on the field less, and will spend more time out there in "garbage time," when the opposing team is looking for quick points, not a trench fight. One guy getting 2000 yards does that. PRIEST~! had more chances for TDs because the Chiefs have a much better and more versatile offense. JAMAL~! did more with less.
