Guest BrokenWings Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 New journal entry Pretty interesting, but comparing his and Al Snow's match to that of Hogan's turn is a bit far fetched, in my opinion. I see his point though, and enjoy reading his thoughts. I wish more wrestlers kept an online journal.
Guest Indikator Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 Mark Wolf, Chris Hero, Jimmy Jacobs, Alex Shelley and CM Punk are on Livejournal
Guest BrokenWings Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 Mark Wolf, Chris Hero, Jimmy Jacobs, Alex Shelley and CM Punk are on Livejournal I knew of CM Punk, but I'll definately go looking for the other four. Thanks for the info!
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 I'm sorry but comparing, probably, the biggest heel turn of the 90's to something seen by no more than maybe 3000 people is far fetched. Nonetheless interesting read.
Guest RickyB Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 What show was Raven/Snow on? I've not really heard about that match.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Raven is delusional. He's nothing. He dissed the Malenko/Guerrero ECW series for lack of heat. I've seen 2-3 of their matches in ECW and the crowd seemed quite attentive and appreciative of their work. For the msot part the ECW fans were just attentively watching the matches like fans do in Japan. Just because they weren't going bonkers for the entire 30 minutes doesn't mean it should be considered less of a match. Besides, if heat meant anything, 10 of Raven's 12 years in the business would be a wash.
Guest BrokenWings Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 CM Punk's Livejournal He's usually very candid and tells some funny stories.
Steviekick Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 It was an interesting read and makes me want to see this match.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Hey Raven, new gimmick. It's not 1996 anymore. No one cares. Stop bashing others.
Guest Indikator Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 I think you didn´t get it. Raven didn´t write that he´s a superstar or something else but that he and Al Snow could carry a match for almost 50 minutes and got the crowd behind them. I don´t think that too many people were like "Oh, those two are my favorites and will have a MOTYC with many table/headbumps" but that Raven and Snow had to get their attention and enthusiasm. And Ravens right with his Malenko/Guerrero reference. You can adapt it to Tommy Rogers and Jerry Lynn and it would be even more evident
