Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 So someone screwed up my computer by reinstalling Windows, now when i want to print instead of just saying HP Deskjet it starts some crap about this Quick Link fax thing, and refuses to print. Can I fix it without the original disk that came with the printer?
Guest Krazy Karter Report post Posted January 9, 2004 You have to go into Control Panel and set your deskjet as the main printer.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 If you printer doesn't have it's drivers installed you can go to HP's website and download them.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 You have to go into Control Panel and set your deskjet as the main printer. This might be the problem as you probably forgot to set the HP as your defalt printer. Get the drivers if you don't have them then goto the control panel and setup everything proper. Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2004 I installed everything from the site, now it's my default, but once i click print, it still won't work because of an "unknown error." It tells me to restart, I do, but it still won't work.
