The Socratic Method crap sounds like Pretentious Metal more than Indie, as it has an "Epic saga" feel to it. It seems to try to sound important and take itself seriously without the trademark humour you'd expect from indie music. Besides, much metal constantly makes references to fantasy and the like, and lots of fantasy seem to remind me of Ancient Greece. That's the way I see it, unless the Socratic method is some vague reference to some album. If you just made it up, then yeah, metal.

 

"Big Scenes about Fucking" would seem more appropriate.
