EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 From 411. WWE RAW Off-Camera, Dark Match, Heat Taping Results What happened live there Hey 411, this is Danny Rothbard, and I just got back from RAW at the Nassau Coliseum with my friend Seth...Show was pretty good, with about 10,000 people there. They blocked off much of the top tier... Here is a recap of Heat: Val Venis/Lance Storm defeated 2 scrubs - They used the Hart Attack clothesline as a finisher, which got a nice pop. They had 2 girls with them at ringside...post match - Lance danced his white boy jig on the ringpost. Heat pyro goes off... Garrison Cade/Mark Jindrak defeated Rosie and the Hurricane - they used their usual finisher to get the win...nothing special here... Rob Conway defeated Spike Dudley with a really cool looking springboard corkscrew suplex - got a nice pop for that move, but lots of heat for coming out with Rene and the French flag. After the match, Spike was helped to the back by a bunch of refs and was really clinging to his left shoulder - either a good work or a legit injury, he did land pretty hard at the end... Merchandise plug, and the t-shirt cannon came out. Rico defeated local boy Tommy Dreamer when Jackie interefered and cracked Dreamer over the head with the singapore cane. Rico won it with a spinning heel kick. HEAT MAIN EVENT: Scott Steiner defeated Steven Richards (without Victoria) with a flatliner. After the match, Test came out, celebrated w/ Steiner, and beat on Steven for a while. End of HEAT... DURING RAW: Our seats were almost behind the Titan-Tron, so we were able to see who was coming out before they did. P.S. - to get Austin's ATV up onto the stage, they use a forklift, and just hoist it up...pretty cool to see... To be honest, it seemed like Evolution and Kane all got mixed reactions, guess they have some loyal fans in NY... I dont know how the main event came off on TV, but the middle wasnt so great - lots of rest holds, and during the commerical break, an official in a black collared shirt came up to Orton outside of the ring and wiped him off w./ a towel, and appeared to be giving him directions. RVD's fall to the barrier at the end caused a "Holy Shit" chant. POST RAW: about 5 minutes after the cameras were done, HHH came out and stated that "I am the world champ and can do what I want, when I want", which caused Austin to come out on his ATV, and they had a little improv which actually lasted about 20 minutes!!! Basically, Austin pulled the "no you can't I am the sheriff and your in my ring and youre pissing me off" - Austin then offered HHH a beer and HHH said "No because then you'll stun me like you always do" - HAHAHA. At ringside, Austin found a guiy with a sign that said HHH was the best champ ever, and Austin said to Triple H - "Well at least there's one idiot in the building", to which HHH replied "yeah but he's MY IDIOT" - funny stuff! But after a while HHH said ok he would drink w/ Austin, so then they went over to the bell ringer;s table and both began to make fun of the stage-hands sitting there...After teasing a sing-off for a few minutes, they finally entered the ring, and Austin had a few cold ones tossed to him. He threw one to HHH and he dropped it, so Austin made fun of him. He tossed him another, and HHH dropped it again! HHH said "whats the matter, you never dropped anything before? They are wet and slippery, I never felt anything this wet before!" AWESOME! Austin came within one foot of HHH, and lobbed one to HHH who finally caught it, and got a nice cheer...Austin wanted to toast to Mick Foley who "couldnt be here tonight", but HHH said he'd rather "toast the greatest world champion ever - himself",to which Austin said "If thats what it will take to get you to drink then hell I'll toast that". You know what happened next - both take a drink, kick, wham, stunner! HHH didnt go down, he stumbled for a bit, turned around, and got another stunner!!! HHH stumbled to the back, and Austin posed and drank a few more beers before Lillian said goodnight... TOP POPS: 5. RVD 4. ME! (just kidding, it was Lita) 3. Dudley Boys 2. Goldberg 1. Austin TOP HEAT: 5. Teddy Long and Company 4. Rico 3. Bischoff (backstage) 2. La Resistance 1. The Coach - Wow did they hate him! OVERALL: Good show, not great. I would give it 8 out of 10... Best part of the night was by far the off camera stuff between HHH and Austin...
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 (edited) Rico defeated local boy Tommy Dreamer when Jackie interefered and cracked Dreamer over the head with the singapore cane. Rico won it with a spinning heel kick. Woohoo! *edits sig And it looks like Triple H replaced Jericho for the usual Aftershow Beer Bash Beatdown. Edit: Aand there was no Foley after all? What a fucking cop-out. Edited January 13, 2004 by Deon Dark
Steviekick 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 So that proves Foley wasn't there. That is just wrong to book a show around someone who wasn't in the freaking building.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Hey, would they make somoene look good in his hometown? Of COURSE NOT! I'm happy for Rico's win/loss thing, though, at the very least.
EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Hell that would have been the perfect time for Foley to come back in his hometown and gave a speech about why he left.

Guest Quik Report post Posted January 13, 2004 WWE RAW Off-Camera, Dark Match, Heat Taping Results What happened live there Then thum thar did they um... yeah. Hey 411, this is Danny Rothbard, Hi Danny! and I just got back from RAW at the Nassau Coliseum with my friend Seth ...afterwards they went to a strip club and oggled the dancers once they ran out of singles. They were kicked out shortly thereafter ...Show was pretty good, with about 10,000 people there. Seth got a boner at this point. He was embarassed at first, but embraced his feelings shortly thereafter and tried to draw Lance's attention to his Johnson. Danny cried at this point. He thought Spike was really hurt. He tried going backstage for further information, but security tazered him and kicked him in the balls. Then he cried some more. Pussy. Merchandise plug, and the t-shirt cannon came out. Danny got shot in the eye, but he's used to that sorta thing. Wakka-wakka-wakka. Punch, punch, dropkick, take a spinning kick, knock him off the rops, DDT." "Dah, okay boss!" RVD's fall to the barrier at the end caused a "Holy Shit" chant. Because that didn't come across on live national fucking TV. A whole crowd yelling "Holy shit"? Nah, we had no idea. POST RAW: about 5 minutes after the cameras were done, HHH came out and stated that "I am the world champ and can do what I want, when I want", which caused Austin to come out on his ATV, and they had a little improv which actually lasted about 20 minutes!!! 20 MINUTES?!?!?!?! Basically, Austin pulled the "no you can't I am the sheriff and your in my ring and youre pissing me off" This kid transcribes it like they're fucking robots in the ring. - Austin then offered HHH a beer and HHH said "No because then you'll stun me like you always do" - HAHAHA. "Welcome to Battlestar Gallactica Forum!" At ringside, Austin found a guiy with a sign that said HHH was the best champ ever, and Austin said to Triple H - "Well at least there's one idiot in the building", to which HHH replied "yeah but he's MY IDIOT" - funny stuff! Not as funny as that Carrot Top, though. Hell no. But after a while HHH said ok he would drink w/ Austin, so then they went over to the bell ringer;s table and both began to make fun of the stage-hands sitting there...After teasing a sing-off for a few minutes, they finally entered the ring, and Austin had a few cold ones tossed to him. You know what happened next Chyna came out with an assault rifle and a thrist for blood, only to get slapped around by a returning X-Pac? - both take a drink, kick, wham, stunner! Damn. Well, color me dissapointed. HHH didnt go down, he stumbled for a bit, turned around, and got another stunner!!!
