WWE RAW & Weekend Ratings

WWE RAW & Weekend Ratings

How did RAW do this week?

- WWE RAW did a 3.6 rating with a 5 share this week, up from a 3.5 last week. The show did hours of 3.6 and 3.6. This rating has to be considered another disappointment since WWE teased Mick Foley's return for the entire show. WWE has yet to see any increase in the RAW ratings since the end of Monday Night Football.

- Velocity did a 0.9; Confidential did a 0.8; Heat did a 1.1.

Don't they get that the previous week's quality affects ratings more than anything? They could have teased Jesus appearing all show, but without giving someone a reason to tune in with a good show the previous week, the ratings aren't going to show up.

And not delivering Foley will only hurt them, since people will be more apt to say "well, they didn't pay it off last time, why should I stay tuned?"

That's probably what happened this time, after whatever the last big bait-and-switch they did was.

Not only might it hurt the next time, it really looked very WCW taking the attention away from a strong Orton/RVD match. I almost expected them to cut to a shot of Sting in the rafters eating popcorn.

Freakin shame.

They should be glad the ratings just didn't move period. You would think stability would be seen as a positive.

Maybe INSTEAD of a dissapointment, it should be a wakeup call. WWE needs NEW FUCKING STARS.

But, it takes TIME to make new stars. And they have to make their own breaks if they want to get anywhere.
