Guest Cerebus Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 So about New Hampshire...anyone recall the last two NH primary winners? Buchanan and McCain which doesn't exactly spell "Certain Victory" does it?
Guest Choken One Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Bold Prediction: Al Sharpton wins 73% of the Vote and Dean skips past the Hogan rant and delves into his best Depressed Bitter cold demented Jake Roberts promo.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Dean's night isn't over. He's on Primetime with Diane Sawyer (with his wife, Judith) and he's on Letterman, also. His debate performance was pretty good, in my opinion, but he just looked... sick. Nothing he said will hurt him at all, but I don't think it will win him the election alone. However, he's getting good press tonight, and it may, perhaps, help him a bit. I think he needs a strong second to stay in this race, and I hope that happens.

Buchanan and McCain which doesn't exactly spell "Certain Victory" does it? The SC primary will be the one to decide it. This is not home state pride or anything --- it's just the first state that reflects America rather well. No caucuses, which are dominated by special interest extremists, and unlike NH, there actually ARE minorities here. -=Mike
kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Good thing KKK isn't watching. Why should I waste two hours of my life on this? And what exactly was the Mikey Moore question? About how he calls Bush the “Deserter?” Well, Mikey is a true Desserter. Hey, that gives me an idea for a new avatar. Oh, and Edwards owns all other Dems in the looks department...

Guest MikeSC Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 KKK was the originator, you just took it to nauseating proportions. Ah, I'm touched. I was hoping that your time off would make you less of a prick. I was sadly mistaken. Alas. So, when Dean-o loses, will he run as an independent? -=Mike

kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 If you can find a better MM pic that won't be too distored by TSM Avatar's image limitations (80x80) PM me. All the good ones I saw on Google were just fat red X's...

Excuse me, but isn't it true he skipped his post for about a year? I thought that WAS a deserter, or is it just AWOL or some other word? I don't get the whole deserter controversey since I was under the impression Bush was a deserter.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Huh? Controversy? I'm just making a Mikey Moore fat joke. MM -- who's appetite is a weapon of mass destruction for any all-you-can-eat buffet...

kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 LOL -- That close-talking guy from Seinfeld who took Jerry's parents out...
C Dubya 04 Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Here's something from Fox Foxnews.com Hmm, I think that they're a bit off on this one. Directly stated in the question asked to Clark was that he had previously voted for Reagan and Nixon and supported other Republicans, to which he responded that that was true, but that he also voted for Clinton and Gore. I don't see what Fox's gripe is about this. Should he have repeated the question? Also, color me unimpressed that Kerry may have stayed at a house instead of under a bridge. And that Edwards wasn't an expert on Gay civil unions (which he stated he wasn't). I don't see how that is leaving things out, as the story puts it.

MM -- who's appetite is a weapon of mass destruction for any all-you-can-eat buffet... I don't know. Peter Jennings was pushing Clark that the deserter term was factually incorrect and basically telling Clark he should know better. I don't have a whole lot of military knowledge and don't speak to a lot of Bush supporters outside of here (everyone I know who approves of the war hates his domestic policy) so I've never really had anything other than liberal talking heads talk to me about Bush's record in the Air Guard, and AWOLBush.com is down right now.

The story did mention Edwards admitted not being an expert on the subject. Why does Kerry have to say he slept in tent. He doesn't have to be the hero of every man, Any criticism of Clark is deserved. They asked him tough questions, and he blames a Republican conspiracy. He's so used to all the softball questions, that one anything remotley difficult he gets upset.
