Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Chapter 5 – Revisions ***WARNING*** I have taken the best of what other people have used in their own federation diaries and added them to my own. Thus to challenge myself and add a little intrigue into my diaries. Also anything else I can think of at this time. So first, I’d like to say that I’m borrowing the preview from well… Just about everyone since it’ll help flesh out my shows and federation a little more. Finally, um… I’d like to say that soon I’ll probably be adding in a divisional categorical account of who is in what division. This will most likely happen in July. I thank RoH and anyone using RoH diaries for the idea and the expansion I’ll be making to it. ***END WARNING*** June 1st, 2004 It’s been a hectic news week for us folks so let’s get right to it. NWATNA made huge strides when they signed Hulk Hogan. Yes, it is official and done. The WWE wasn’t about to pick up the aging Man of Hulkamania, however, TNA goes out of its way to sign Hulk Hogan to a written contract. This could either make or break TNA as it vies to be the #1 company in the wrestling industry. Not to stop there, but TNA went out of its way and managed to sign Devon Storm to a written contract as well. Devon Storm, a.k.a. Crowbar of WCW, has been told that he shall be getting a big push to the top of the card but that remains to be seen. With every company fighting to becoming #1, there are bound to be some companies that just can’t keep up and finally end up going broke. Recently USA Pro Wrestling, NWA: Florida, East Coast Wrestling Associaton, and IWA: Mid South all filed for bankruptcy. But the biggest shocker of all the federations going bankrupt would be Combat Zone Wrestling. After five years of being in the wrestling business, CZW had to file for bankruptcy and officially close its doors. Although lately CZW had a rough history with being consider a garbage federation, to becoming somewhat of a legitimate entity, before drifting back to a garbage federation, it was one of those federations you would always assume would be around. However, it simply wasn’t meant to be. I ask for a moment of silence as we pay our respects to CZW. … AJPW has announced its roster for the new year and the following people were included in its roster: Abdullah The Butcher, Elix Skipper, Hi69, Johnny Smith, Kaz Hayashi, Mike Awesome, NOSAWA, The Amazing Red, Tomoaki Honma and Toshiaki Kawada. And in Ultimate Championship Wrestling news, apparently, UCW is bolstering up its rankings once again by hiring Dino Bambino, Brian XL, tag team Fuzion (Blade and Mike Paiva) and tag team Five Star Attraction (Eric Young and Matt Classic). Expect all these wrestlers to appear sometime in the near future on Ultimate Championship Wrestling programming here soon.

Actually, I just used them elementry style. I've been setting up the rankings and I'm simply stunned at what I've done despite the bullshit that it is, looking at the rankings and stats. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 (edited) June 1st, 2004 With Combat Zone Wrestling closing its doors, it kind of hit home how volatile this business of ours is. Even if you have been around for five years and going strong, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can make it big. You still can fail and end up nothing more than a faded memory of what can be. “Excuse me, sir. I have a report to give. Remember?” I had been so wrapped up in thought that I forgot about my meeting with Sophie about how my last month went. Hopefully, I’ll be hearing some good news. “Thank you. I must say your business aspect is quite ideal as we’ve steadily been gaining in both financial and public support. As such our public image has risen to 78 as of last month, and we continue to be drawing better crowd reactions to everything we do.” “This was good news.Last month as a little lackluster I thought and could’ve still been better.” “On the contrary, all I’ve heard so far from our last monthly event is good reviews of it. Although, you are right. We could still do better. Our best televised match was The Messiah vs. Adam Windsor on May 4th for the Ultimate Championship. While our best match from Midsummer Madness was the grudge match: Big Vito vs. The Messiah.” “Nice to hear. Too bad Big Vito and Messiah won’t sign on long term. I could really use them to put over the company big time. Oh well, I’ve got everyone else to build the shows upon. Big things for Adam, Crush, Marcus and Leo then.” I watched as her eyes lit up in shock at the last two names mentioned. She spoke with utter disbelief. “Marcus and Leo? But you wouldn’t dare put those two in a title match so early! They aren’t ready!” Ok… I understand her being a little upset with my decision to put Adam Windsor and Orange Crush as my front running stars, but getting mad about my great wrestling stars, Marcus and Leo? I know a good thing when I see one and those two where/are it. “Look, I just mean I’m going to build them up as great wrestlers. We are still months away before I’ll even consider giving them a title. Let alone get near the Ultimate Championship. I just mean, I’m going to use them to build up my company.” “Alright, but might I suggest also building up some other superstars as well? Perhaps Chance Beckett, GQ, Adam Flash and Paul London? They seem like they are ready to take it up a notch.” “Hm… Not a bad idea. Since Chance is the Champion, I could use him to face off against GQ (his rival), perhaps build the division around Adam Flash (who seemingly works good with almost everyone) till at least Danny Rose returns, and perhaps even have a good run of Paul London as Champion. The possibilities are endless…” “Anyways, sir. I’ll leave you to your insane plans. Good night.” Edited February 18, 2004 by Lightning Flik

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 June 1st, 2004 Preview For Outbreak! The fallout from Midsummer Madness will commence tonight and shall it begin insanely! Coming off of the loss against Adam Windsor, Orange Crush is a desperate man. He vows that he’ll defeat Adam Windsor if it’s the last thing he does and will wreak havoc upon him till he can do so. After the PPV, Air Paris and Mikey Henderson look for redemption and looked in the oddest of places. As Air Paris has challenged newcomer, Dino Bambino to a match, whilst Mikey Henderson has challenged Brian XL. These matches should be wild and intense! Winning the Television title was a big accomplishment for Chance Beckett, and he’s out to prove that he is a worthy Champion. He’ll have that chance to prove it next week. However, the main event of the show tonight is to crown Chance Beckett’s #1 contender for next week. It’ll be a triple threat of Adam Flash vs. GQ vs. Leo Branford! The leader of Red Storm Rising, Marcus Chavayada, had some help from Seth Knight in his win over Leo Branford. Because of this, Red Storm Rising is going to have a ceremony to welcome Seth Knight into their group. The Rising of the New Red Storm happens tonight~! The Card: Dino Bambino vs. Air Paris Chris Stylez vs. Derrick King Jason Cross vs. Ken Anderson Mikey Henderson vs. Brian XL Adam Flash vs. GQ vs. Leo Branford
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 June 1st, 2004 Opening Song – Three Doors Down “Going Down In Flames” The Show Fuzion vs Five Star Attraction. Match Background: Blade is making his debut at this show. Paiva is making his debut at this show. Young is making his debut at this show. Classic is making his debut at this show. Paiva hits a dropkick on Eric Young and gets right back up. Paiva drops an elbow...but Eric Young moves out of the way. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Tag between Eric Young and Matt Classic. Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and Paiva goes down. Tag to Blade. Classic hits a dropkick on Blade and gets right back up. Blade is all alone...Five Star Rating!! 1....2....3! Five Star Attraction rush forward to attack! Fuzion get caught by surprise and brutally beaten down to the canvas. My Opinion: Hmm. Only gets * from me. Overall: 48, Heat: 21, Quality: 76 (Side Note: Welcome my two new tag teams to my company. Yes, I have a tag team called “Featured Attraction” and “Five Star Attraction”. Can we sense resentment sometime soon?) Orange Crush is backstage. He’s apparently continuing his rivalry with Adam Windsoor by getting on THE STICK~! And proceeding to use THE STICK~! as his source of bitchability. “Listen Windsor… You may have won your match against me last month, but this isn’t over yet. I’m coming for you, the Ultimate Title, and nothing is going to stand in my way. You hear me? Nothing and no one will stop me from winning the Ultimate title. And when I find out who I’ll be facing this month at Adrenaline Rush, I’ll finish him off, then I’m coming for you Windsor… I want your title. I will do anything for the Ultimate title…” Overall: 60 Red Storm Rising has come to the ring, led by Marcus Chavayada. He takes THE STICK~! and uses it like he doesn’t give a damn that the fans are chanting “You suck!” “At Midsummer Madness, you saw witness to what was probably the greatest showing of what one man is willing to do to prove his beliefs. That man helped me obtain a victory over that naïve idiot, Leo. This man has the same belief that every one of us Red Storm Rising members has. We will do whatever is necessary to be the best. If this means, we bend a few rules, we’ll do it. The end justifies the means! Nothing else matters. So with that in mind, I’d like to ask that man to come down to the ring, and join with his comrades as the newest member of Red Storm Rising!” Seth Knight comes down the aisle. He climbs in and joins his new partners, cementing the new alliance. Overall: 64 Dino Bambino vs Air Paris. Match Background: Bambino is making his debut at this show. The Match: STIFF high kick on Bambino by Air Paris. Air Paris misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Bambino hits a HARD spinning kick to the jaw. Air Paris is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Paris hits a dropkick on Dino Bambino and gets right back up. Paris crushes Bambino with a huge legdrop. Covers for a quick two count. Bambino walks into a face crusher variation. Has anyone's face ever really been crushed by one though? Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Dino Bambino reverses a hip toss. Lightning kick by Bambino on Paris. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Paris blocks a kick from Dino Bambino. Air Paris floors Dino Bambino. Slingshot Legdrop! 1....2....3. Dino Bambino offers a handshake to Paris...and he accepts it! No! Air Paris levels Bambino with a cheap shot right hand! Air Paris floors Bambino. Air Paris signals - Slingshot Legdrop! Dino Bambino has been floored after the match. My Opinion: Solid bout, but they could do a lot better. *** Overall: 65, Heat: 40, Quality: 91 (Side Note: Wow! These two clicked like never before. I wasn’t expecting this to say the least. I’m impressed) Onyx is in the ring about to speak on THE STICK~! But Bleeding Souls come out and attack him before he can get a word off; beating him down 2-on-1. Out of the crowd comes Jonny C, making his debut. He slides in and joins the fight, taking on Bleeding Souls. Onyx fights back too, and between them they send Bleeding Souls out of the ring. Words of violence are exchanged as the two teams are separated by security. Overall: 65 Chris Stylez vs Derrick King. Match Background: None. The Match: STIFF high kick on Stylez by Derrick King. Stylez blocks a kick from Derrick King. Stylez just WAFFLES Derrick with a STIFF chop that hurt ME to watch! The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Inverted Suplex! 1....2....3. Chris Stylez has a temper tantrum, kicking the ropes and punching the turnbuckles. My Opinion: I'll give it a **1\2 rating, but that's because I didn't mark out once...but nothing was too bad. Overall: 65, Heat: 45, Quality: 86 (Side Note: One half of the tag champs just was pinned. They look vulnerable now don’t they?) Jason Cross vs Ken Anderson. Match Background: None. The Match: Jason Cross connects with a back heel kick on Anderson and gets back up quickly. Anderson blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Jason Cross comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Ken Anderson gets knocked to the ground by Cross, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Through the air, 450 Splash! 1....2....3. Seth Knight comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Seth Knight spins Anderson around. Seth Knight hits the End Game! Ken Anderson has been left down on the canvas. My Opinion: Oh, look out...almost ***, but not quite. **3/4. Overall: 65, Heat: 42, Quality: 89 (Side Note: Yes, Ken Anderson and Seth Knight have unresolved business. And they will continue it till each one tears the other apart.) Bleeding Souls are in the ring. Apparently, Austin Lee will be using THE STICK~! today. “Jonny C and Onyx are a prime example of what’s wrong with this company. You see, Onyx got to sit at home on his ass for the longest time while Jonny was injuried, because the brass decided that it was ok for this to happen. Bullshit, me and Aidan here don’t think this and thus we aren’t going to settle for anything less than their busted, broken, and battered bodies. At least that way, it’ll make more sense than what we were told!” Featured Attraction come out onto the sound stage. Next up on THE STICK~!, Jonny C. “Since you two feel so badly about this, why don’t you two stop bitching about it and take us on, in a tag match. What do you say?” Bleeding Souls accept, and the two teams trade insults for a while before leaving. Overall: 63 Mikey Henderson vs Brian XL. Match Background: XL is making his debut at this show. There's a two count on the pin. Vicious kick to the teeth from Brian XL. Pin, but Miracle is out just before the three count. Implant DDT by Brian XL! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Spinning back kick from Brian XL. Miracle flips out of a Brian XL bodyslam attempt. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Tor-NADO DDT from Mikey Henderson, XL got planted! Mikey Henderson moves in for the kill. Push Forward Front Suplex!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Mikey Henderson climbs each turnbuckle in turn, working the crowd as he celebrates his victory My Opinion: These guys worked SO HARD...for a ** rating. Something went wrong somewhere, didn't it? Overall: 63, Heat: 37, Quality: 83 (Side Note: Brian XL didn’t get a very good response and I’m quite disappointed I just signed him. He brought the work ethics, but left the entertaining of the crowd at the door. Which doesn’t bode well for him.) Adam Windsor is in the ring, carrying the UCW Ultimate belt. THE STICK~! respects the Champion and lets him speak his mind. “So Crush. You are willing to go to whatever lengths it takes to get my Ultimate title? Well, you’ll have to prove that and regain the #1 Contendership and even if you do, so what? I’ve beaten you once, I can do it again. I’m growing tired of your petty antics Crush. You are an annoyance and nothing more. Until you can prove otherwise, shut up and crawl back into whatever worm infested hole you came out of.” Orlando Jordan comes down and gets in the ring. “You know Windsor, maybe you should keep your own eyes on what’s ahead of you. Did you forget? At Adrenaline Rush, I’m your opponent. I’m the one you must face to defend your title against and I assure you that I’ll be more of a handful than Orange Crush ever could be.” Windsor snaps back without hesitation. “I’ll admit that I should be looking at my upcoming opponent Jordan. But you still have to prove that I should consider you a threat. You haven’t done anything other than win that contendership. Do more than that, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll consider you something more than ho-hum. As I whipped your ass back on May 18th.” Jordan grabs the belt and waffles the champion with it, knocking him out. Orlando Jordan poses above him, the belt in his hands. He drops the belt onto the mat and leaves. Overall: 63 Adam Flash vs GQ vs Leo Branford. Match Background: This will be a triangle bout. The Match: STIFF high kick on Leo by Adam Flash. A kick from GQ is delivered to the leg. Leo blocks a kick from GQ. Leo crushes GQ with a huge legdrop. SUPER frankensteiner on Flash, who hit hard and is loopy as a result. There's a two count on the pin. Front legsweep slam aka The Stroke by GQ. Pin, but Leo is out just before the three count. Leo reverses a waistlock. Super kick by Leo Branford. Power drive elbow by Adam Flash. That sounds like a feature on a 4 x 4, doesn't it. Marcus Chavayada comes running down the aisle with a chair! Flash and Leo Branford continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Marcus Chavayada slides in and blasts Leo Branford with a chair to the head! Marcus climbs out of the ring, the damage done! Adam Flash floors Leo Branford...and climbs the turnbuckles. Through the air, Top Rope Leg Drop! 1....2....3. My Opinion: It was close to a ** match, but I just can't stand too many blown spots. *3/4 Overall: 61, Heat: 44, Quality: 79 (Side Note: If you wish to know how the ref never saw the chair shot, check the replay. Yup. You see? He was checking on GQ. He had to make sure that Leo didn’t give GQ a Concussion Kick. …what do you mean he saw it clear as day? It’s no DQ Triple Threat Match… *shifty eyes before running away from logic*)
DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 Classic hits a dropkick on Blade and gets right back up. Blade is all alone...Five Star Rating!! 1....2....3! Five Star Attraction rush forward to attack! Fuzion get caught by surprise and brutally beaten down to the canvas. My Opinion: Hmm. Only gets * from me. You have to appreciate the irony of a team called Five Star Attraction, with a finisher called the Five Star Rating, only getting one star, even if the Dames is the harshest reviewer in the world on this game. (Side Note: If you wish to know how the ref never saw the chair shot, check the replay. Yup. You see? He was checking on GQ. Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Logic never was one of my strong points. Yah, I signed Dino and he's been a good worker for me so far. A fine pickup that I didn't know about. Then again, so was Chris The Bambikiller (who I thought was a character generated, but apparently is a real wrestling, oh, I changed his name to Chris Bambini btw). Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Good show, Flik. Bambino certainly made a good first impression, though that Brian XL match looked like something out of my fed with the high MQ and abysmal Crowd rating. Hope that gets fixed soon. Looks like you've got even more young talent to mix into your group of guys, so nowhere to go but up.

Bambino certainly made a good first impression, though that Brian XL match looked like something out of my fed with the high MQ and abysmal Crowd rating. Hope that gets fixed soon. Looks like you've got even more young talent to mix into your group of guys, so nowhere to go but up. No... I ain't going up yet. I'm still a regional federation. I'm hoping to over succeed and become CULTISH~! ...and I will admit that when TEW comes out, both of my diaries will be forgotten about. I'm sorry, but it's because... International Wrestling Association/Ultimate Championship Wrestling/Supreme Wrestling Federation/Premier Wrestling Federation Diary will be born! Each federation will have their own style of wrestling, each will display characters that are featured only in THEIR company (because each company will be located in a different location, I ain't running these guys against each other till they get much bigger), and we'll see which style really gets over faster! Can I manage to run four feds at once? YOU'LL FIND OUT~! Till then, I'll be working my ass off on these two diaries that I have going. Who knows? Maybe I'll work all three diaries for their money's worth. That would be entertaining. Trying to write up two single diaries and a multi-federation diary. ..ahem... Back on track. Brian XL isn't half bad, but I'm still not impressed with his low overness. I must do something to get his overness up... And the idea I have means I'll actually have to force feed something down everyone's throat.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 June 2nd, 2004 World Wrestling Entertainment have apparently managed to smooth things over with D’Lo Brown as rumors have it that D’Lo was recently resigned by the big guys. Here’s hoping that D’Lo gets a second chance at proving he has what it takes to be something for the WWE. In a recent turn of events that shall shock the wrestling world to its core, TNA has managed to sign Bret Hart to a contract. It is not known when he shall first appear on their programming, but you can bet that this will only make TNA look better in their push to become the #1 federation in the world. IWA-PR has managed to sign Low-Ki to a date or three. Should be interesting to see what Low-Ki will bring to their product. And finally, UCW managed to get a 0.98 on the Neilson Rating scale. Pretty decent show overall. Here’s hoping this can only get better. +++ June 2nd, 2004 Preview For Outbreak! Speaking of the Ultimate Champion, Adam Windsor has a big announcement to make, but the thing is, no one has a clue as to what it is? We may not know what he has to say, but we can assure you that this will be a monumental announcement! You wouldn’t have believed it otherwise, unless you watch it, tonight on Outbreak! Red Storm Rising has its latest recruit and looks to be on the war path of one, Leo Branford. Well, Leo’s going to be here tonight and you better believe he’s coming to get his hands on Red Storm Rising. What’s going to happen? TUNE IN TO FIND OUT~!
