AndrewTS Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Why doesn't HHH just go to Smackdown? Then Brock can go to Raw and each have a fresh batch of people to squash... Brock's better with fellow hosses anyways... I find it hard to believe WWE would put Brock and Batista on the same show. Then you have the rest of Evolution hanging around, and would effectively be broken apart. I don't expect Evolution to break up until Randy pulls his Rocky-style usurping of Evolution. Plus, HHH is still the Raw champion, so I wouldn't count on it. Why would the two champs just switch shows like that almost simultaneously? Benoit going to Raw wouldn't make sense, but it isn't as bad as this scenario.
JasonX Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I have a feeling Foley personally requested Test though since as his book proved....he doesn't really like him Why doesn't Foley like Test?
Tawren Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I have a feeling Foley personally requested Test though since as his book proved....he doesn't really like him Why doesn't Foley like Test? Because Test is a fucking douche.
Guest Choken One Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 But what I am saying is... If HHH wants to look better in the ring, why not just drop the title to Shawn or whoever... Move over to Smackdown...where he has better wrestlers as Raw only has four workers(One part timer and one semi-retired) that can make HHH look good anymore (Jericho, Shawn, Foley and Rock)...Whom are all historically HHH's greatest rivals other then...funny how that works isn't it. Where Smackdown gives him...Benoit, Angle, Eddy, TBS (they actually worked good with each other)...It's fresher for HHH anyways... Brock seems more natural for Raw anyways with the Hoss nature of the place...He proved with TBS, he can carry a Hoss to watchability... Why Batistia hurt Brock any less then Brock was hurt by being paired with TBS, MORGAN, TRAIN and JONES whom were all predominatnly bigger then he was...

Because Test is a fucking douche. To further advance on that... Test was supposed to be foley's new Snow but Test got all pissy and snotty that foley resented him...
Guest Anglesault Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Where Smackdown gives him...Benoit, Angle, Eddy, TBS (they actually worked good with each other)...It's fresher for HHH anyways... HHH and Angle don't work well at all.

Guest Choken One Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 but it gives him someone to work with whose name isn't fucking SHAWN MICHAELS!
Bored Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Everyone is missing the obvious explanation to get him to Raw. Raw opens up tommorrow night with Benoit waking up from bed and realizing it was all a dream. The brand split never happened and he has a match with Val Venis tonight. Then he goes to the bathroom and sees Patrick Duffy in the shower.
Highland Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 When is Benoit supposed to be traded to Raw?
Guest Anglesault Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 but it gives him someone to work with whose name isn't fucking SHAWN MICHAELS! Someone he historically can't have a good match with.
AndrewTS Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Okay, that sounds good in theory, but what happens to Evolution? I can't see HHH leaving Raw without Flair, so that would leave Orton and Batista by themselves without anything solid to do right away. Taker coming back to Raw wouldn't seem so lopsided (I'm assuming he's going to go to Raw or spend most of his time on Raw to build up the angle with Kane) by having WWE's veteran main eventers on the same show together. While Taker wouldn't be going after the title, it would seem like too little time to go around between them. However, I don't see how they would explain a swap anyway. Bisch and Heyman had words together, so I can't see them working out a trade like that. Unless they kiss their champs asses and say "such and such can beat anyone on your show" and vice versa.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 How does Benoit get to RAW? On HHH's private jet. He likes to wine and dine them before he fucks them in the ass.
Guest Choken One Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 but it gives him someone to work with whose name isn't fucking SHAWN MICHAELS! Someone he historically can't have a good match with. did they ever have them with HHHEEL and Face Angle because All I remember is HHH FACE and Angle Tweener (unforgiven) and the heel/heel at Rumble...

HHH doesn't need Flair (in kayfabe sense we mean because we all know the fucking truth) and he tells Orton to take over... and Flair slides right onto Orton's cock... By putting Brock on Raw, You change things up again... After Brock puts away Goldberg (which will be interesting to see if vince promotes his golden boy as a face or a heel)... That leaves open finally for Shawn/Brock which seems like a natural progression for Lesnar...and then he has Jericho after that... Eventully, WWE will build Batistia to be the one unstopable force to Lesnar ala TBS and that gives Lesnar someone else to work with... On Smackdown, Aside from Eddy (which is seemingly upcoming)...who else does he have? He's slayed the entire roster...
EdwardKnoxII Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 How does Benoit get to RAW? On HHH's private jet. He likes to wine and dine them before he fucks them in the ass. So will HHH give Benoit a reach around?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Not without tearing something.
Highland Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I'm going to hold onto my fleeting markish optimism and hope that this isn't all a scheme to have Benoit job to Hunter.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Of course it's not. HHH handpicked Benoit to face at Mania...used his stroke to get Benoit the Rumble win and record for longest time in...going from 1 to win... so he could put him over at the biggest show ever that the company he married into has been hyping for a year...WrestleMania XX. He's really quite an extraordinary man that HHH. What he won't do for his fellow man. Why...let's make a list of all the people who have benefited from feuding with him that aren't his best friend in the business: ... ... hmmm...
Guest Anglesault Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 but it gives him someone to work with whose name isn't fucking SHAWN MICHAELS! It was Angle heel, HHH Tweener Angle Tweener HHH Heel Angle Heel HHH Face (Worst PPV match of Kurt's career) But do you think it would make THAT much of a difference?
Guest Choken One Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 HHH is a better Heel wrestler as Angle is better suited for Face work when he doesn't go into captain no-sell mode... I think it would be a slight improvement...
Guest Anglesault Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 HHH is a better Heel wrestler as Angle is better suited for Face work when he doesn't go into captain no-sell mode... I think it would be a slight improvement... So it MIGHT reach ***? WOW!
Guest Choken One Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Aside from his stuff with HBK...When's the last time HHH even touched ***?
Tawren Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Aside from his stuff with HBK...When's the last time HHH even touched ***? If you're generous, vs Booker T at WMXIX.
AndrewTS Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Angle Heel HHH Face (Worst PPV match of Kurt's career) Hey, it wasn't great and was pretty slow, but compared to Kurt's debut match and his first "loss" vs. Tazz?
Guest Anglesault Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Angle Heel HHH Face (Worst PPV match of Kurt's career) Hey, it wasn't great and was pretty slow, but compared to Kurt's debut match and his first "loss" vs. Tazz? Those didn't have FIVE ref bumps and a slower than shit pacing over a long match time.
Guest Choken One Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I recall a really shitty match with Steve Blackman at Armageddon 1999.
Michrome Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Angle isn't much of a face worker, I agree. I honestly think Benoit-HHH could be ***-**** just based on Benoit alone, with HHH trying harder than usual to look good at Mania. Benoit is going to do the work of 5 men, and hopefully Hunter will bring it.
