Presented by RAW DAWG ENERGY DRINK, Produced by Chris Bell, Todd Keneley, Dave Marquez, Murphy McDermott, Marty Rubalcaba and Josh Waldrop in a benefit for THE ORANGEWOOD FOUNDATION. Hall was actually scheduled to work a UPW show in early 2002, but was picked up by WWE shortly before the show. His agent was actually contacted by XPW to appear at NYR2 as the "mystery guest that would change wrestling as we know it," and there was an agreement for him to appear in XPW. Then, when WWE signed him, obviously that went down the drain, and we all know what happened at NYR2. LOL. But let's hope he shows this time, along with Nash. Should be a cool match. I wonder if Sting will show up, as he was originally booked vs. Howard, but then cancelled with the postponement (sp?) of the show. Howard/Sting vs. Outsiders? Could be quite cool. Another question, though...no B-Boy on the show?
Steviekick Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 That sounds like a good card. Still, I wonder what kind of shape Hall and Nash are in.
Guest JustinCredible2k Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 Hall and Nash are still good brawlers but dont expect anything too high risk or high flyin....Nash might tear his quad again. And then he is gone for another 6 months. But still, should be a good match.
JustJoe2k5 Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I wouldn't be surprised if the mystery partner was Sean Waltman, he turned on Tom Howard, and they reformed the nWo in UPW. Anyway, that 4-Way for the Crusierweight title should be insane. I would like to see the total bill for putting on a show like this.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I wouldn't be surprised if the mystery partner was Sean Waltman, he turned on Tom Howard, and they reformed the nWo in UPW. When Vince bought WCW he also gained the liscense for the nWo product. So it would be illegal for them to do that. They could of course reform the 3 man Wolfpac. Hall is still in good wrestling shape as he keeps himself active. Nash will probably come in and do a Snake Eyes, Sideslam, Big Boot...I doubt he does the JackKnife because of his neck.
Guest Joe_G Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 Another question, though...no B-Boy on the show? Fuck that, where's Smelly?

Jebus Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 Finally...Joe Millionaire has come back to UPW! Seriously though, there are some pretty big stars there...is UPW's budget bigger than TNA's?
The Buzz Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I'm starting to think so after hearing Sting almost worked for them. And now Shamrock, Nash, Hall, Snuka, Lynn, etc etc on one show. I figured Nash's asking price alone would put them outta' business. lol
