Ultra Violence Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Paul Heyman is again involved with the backstage creative process in WWE on the SmackDown! brand. He has been the main person behind many of the recent skits that have gotten over well with the audience. He is also scripting all of his own segments. He is not yet back as an official part of the creative team though, and is currently being considered as talent, not management.
Only The Strong Survive Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Recent skits? Such as?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Recent skits? Such as? I'd say the soap eating bit, but that sounds like a McMahon thing to humiliate the former competition. (Bischoff gets fucked around so much on RAW, time for Heyman on SD)

(Bischoff gets fucked around so much on RAW, time for Heyman on SD) Why would Vince want to humiliate Heyman? He liked ECW and has always had a good working relationship with Heyman. The only strife I could possibly see between them is the TNN thing.

I keep forgeting they were on good terms (and that McMahon would let his guys compete in ECW now and then to draw in fans or something). I'll just rephrase it then: Sounds like something McMahon would do to Bischoff.
Guest Coffey Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Great, more "wrestlingexposed" news. Yeah, that's credible.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 Great, more "wrestlingexposed" news. Yeah, that's credible. I think I read it on 411mania as well, and I'm sure its probably from The Torch.
Damaramu Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 So when is the laughable "Rajah's WWE News and Rumors" reports going to make their way to this board?

(Bischoff gets fucked around so much on RAW, time for Heyman on SD) Why would Vince want to humiliate Heyman? Seeing as it was always rumored that Vince demoted Paul because Heyman was too critical (in Vince's eyes) of the product and the other creative team, I can totally see the soap-eating skit as a subtle dig at Heyman. After all, you can't criticize with a bar of Irish Spring in your maw.

I think I read it on 411mania as well, and I'm sure its probably from The Torch. Yup, I read that too. Heyman Again Involved With Creative Side Ten bucks says he was behind the whole Eddie getting mugged in the bathroom. This is maybe why WWE is better now...
Guest hunger4unger Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 It's from the Torch. Wade Keller has recently made clear his policy on copying from his site yet the newz kids still ignore it. Heyman is highly talented at writing/booking; he should have a senior role in writing Smackdown.
