I just received my "Best of Title Matches" DVD and I must say I'm very impressed. Having only previously seen 2 of the matches in the set, I was glued to both discs the entire time. I liked the way they had Tenay and West segue into each match. It really helped the matches flow together. My only complaints would be the horrible clip job of the original Gauntlet for the Gold (c'mon guys....this isn't Xplosion! Either put the whole thing on there or don't put it at all! ) My other complaint would be that they did not do a very good job editing the bonus Sting interview....so the parts of the original broadcast before or after the interview were here. I know that's nitpicking a lil' bit, but hey, I paid $30 bucks! But seriously, if they can find a way to get the DVDs into stores like Best Buy, it's really help get the word out. If Pioneer was willing to distribute ECW videos, I don't see why they wouldn't want to take on TNA. Just a thought....

I wish they'd get these into Best Buy since I don't like PayPal. I imagine the X-Division one is as well put together, that's the only one I really want

I just realized the DVD didn't cover The Truth winning the title from Shamrock. I know the match itself wasn't as good at Truth/Jarrett or Jarrett/Raven, but every other World Title change in TNA history was on there.

Well, I've seen Gauntlet for the Gold and you didn't miss much. It was pretty bad, honestly.

I do wish TNA would get their DVD's in Best Buy. JCW is there. XPW is there. Why isn't TNA?

XPW still exists? Jesus, the shows I think sucked, and the DVD's are still hanging around stores.

OH yes. Being a Best Buy employee, I always look into what kind of deals I can get on wrestling DVDs. As of now we have about three copies of JCW, no XPW, and a bunch of more recent WWE releases. I would love it if we could some day sell ROH and TNA dvds though. I may be a wrestling fan, but I am running out of funds.

At my Best Buy they have an OVW dvd called future superstars of wrestling or something. It has people like John Cena and Rico on it. They also have a dvd box set of footage called Superstars of Wrestling or something which is like 5 dvds and has old footage of guys just starting out like Booker T and Steve Austin.

Well I wish they were at Best Buy/other retail stores as well.

It's a mistake on their part.

The point of the DVD's should be to expose the product to people.

Putting them out in stores means they'll make less money on each sale...but they'll sell more. In TNA's position...it's stupid to do it the way they are.

Amen! That is the second best way to help spread the word, next to a TV Deal of course. I came across plenty of feds that way. I didn't even know what XPW was until I saw a video in Best Buy. I didn't become a fan, but I did sample the product. I'm sure TNA could benefit from that kind of exposure.

I agree totally. At least find a way to get the DVD's on highspots or one of the well known wrestling tape or merchandise site's on the net. That would at least help somewhat....

The Gauntlet for the Gold should be on there from a historical standpoint, but trust me, you don't WANT the full match. No matter how badly it's clipped, thank baby jebus for those minutes of your life that the clipping saved!

As long as the GFTG is there, I see no reason Truth/Sham should have been left off, as long as all the others are there...
