With Brian "Spanky" Kendrick and Zach Gowen now free agents, they might be part of such a group that would debut before the April three-hour PPV (which still hasn't been officially announced publicly yet). Spanky would be good for this though, but he hardly is a recognizable face to represent the WWE. He was more memerable from his days in ROH than the WWE. I think this could be interesting, but do we really need another "invasion" angle. It's been so overdone that it's just stupid. But then again, I won't totally knock it until they try it. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I could see Dustin Rhodes going into the group too. Spanky and Gowen would make a good young heel team, IMO. Spanky has played the cocky SOB who acts bigger than life before (ROH), and I'd mark for Gowen using his prosthesis as a weapon. Go back to 1992-1994 where they stuck Dustin with every great wrestler in the company (Steamboat, Rude, Pillman, Muta. Windham, Anderson, Eaton, MVC, Douglas, Vader) and he still couldn't hardly get over... If Hogan had never came in, Dustin/Austin would have headlined WCW in 1994. It would be like those people who change just enough in a song so they don't have to pay licensing fees.
