The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 Chris Sabin vs. Juventud Guerrera Jerry Lynn vs. Aguila Sonjay Dutt vs. Hector Garza Elix Skipper vs. Abismo Negro Jerry Lynn and Sonjay Dutt vs. Juventud Guerrera and Abismo Negro Chris Sabin and Elix Skipper vs. Hector Garza and Aguila Elimination match: Jerry Lynn, Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Elix Skipper vs. Juventud Guerrera, Aguila, Hector Garza and Abismo Negro According to the observer site the last two weeks, the singles matches were disapointing compared to the semifinals and finals of the Super X Cup, partly because 3 of the 4 AAA guys had to fly from Japan to Mexico to Nashville and were drained. It'll be interesting to see how the matches are...I remember before the Super X Cup I had heard only that the last three matches were good...and they turned out better on TV than I had thought they would going in. This is from the observer site about the tag and elimination matches: "I've now heard from three different people who are at the TNA show last night. For next week's show, the two tag team matches of AAA vs. TNA were said to be solid, but the final match, and unfortunately half the crowd cleared out before it started, which a long eight-man elimination with Mr. Aguila & Juventud Guerrera & Abismo Negro & Hector Garza vs. Sonjay Dutt & Jerry Lynn & Elix Skipper & Chris Sabin was said by two people to be one of the five best matches in the history of the promotion and a third said that when it was over, some fans in the building said they were going to buy the PPV next week just to get to see it again." All in all...it should be fun to watch.

Jingus 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I saw all the matches live, and it looks pretty good overall. Not as good as the X cup, I think a single-elimination tournament would've served purposes better; Sonjay seemed kinda off in some of the matches, and Abismo Negro didn't do anything for me at all. However, Lynn and Juvy are always good, and Hector Garza surprised me with his flippityfloppity moves, considering he's a pretty big guy. Overall, probably worth the $10. razazteca 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2004 I wish AAA would sent the Los Vipers stable over as rudos lead by the fake Psycosis. Well as least Juvi and Aguila are luchadores that people know from their previous time working in USA but I think AAA could of sent somebody better than Hector Garza. Where was Electro Shock and the mini luchadores?
