Assuming its Angle/Eddie

Recommended Posts

Assuming Angle wins the 3-way for the number 1 contendership, and Eddie wins the title at No Way Out, what will happen at WM20? Is Eddie hotshotting the belt to Angle? And if so, will it result in a feud or is it simply to do yet another Angle/Lesnar program? Or are there other contenders out there that Angle will be working with? I'd love to see Eddie get a run for the belt, at least until SummerSlam, but I haven't heard of any plans past WM.

I really hope they don't just use Eddie as a transition guy. What is the point of putting it back on Angle anyway? At this point we know what he can do as either heel or face with the title (which won't be anything astounding). Why not let Eddie keep it for a good long while to see if he can draw or not?

Eddie can continue to feud with Angle for a while, Lesnar will want a rematch, he and Cena have history that can be tapped into, Chavo can get a minor feud....plenty of stuff to do with Eddie as champ. But Angle? More of him against Brock.....ugh.

While I love Eddie's work and I think an extended feud with Brock would rule, Angle is getting the belt. Angle gets a better reaction than Eddie (which says something since Eddie gets a BIG reaction) and a face is taking the World title home (probably Micheals), so Angle seems the winner.

Angle hasn't gotten a bigger reaction than Eddy in nearly a year. He's a stale main event character, he's a lesser worker, and he's not as good on the mic, as Eddy showed his brilliance in that respect last night.

I expect Eddy to win a face vs. face match at mania, and then for Kurt to turn heel, win the belt, and have Eddy do the chase. This feud is going to be awesome, and will probably run through the spring into summer.

Kurt Angle will pin Eddie Guerrero 123.

Eddie Guerrero will keep the WWE Championship no more than 62 days like Big Show.

I wouldn't be shocked if Brock Lensar interfere in the match because he's always in the title picture.

Is Eddie hotshotting the belt to Angle?

Yes.

Haven't you realised that Brock shares his WWE Title with Kurt Angle?

And if so, will it result in a feud or is it simply to do yet another Angle/Lesnar program?

That's it.

Kurt gains nothing by winning the belt at Mania.

Eddy pins him to finish off the FEUD WITH NO PURPOSE~! and moves on to Brock while Kurt hopefully retires.

This feud is going to be awesome

The matches will be.

Angle/Eddy in the mini-Rumble was great.

My point is that OBVIOUSLY, the feud itself won't be good, because for some unknown reason they did the month of January, but the matches contained within should be great.

"They could be if WWE's new grounded style doesn't come into play like it did to Eddie vs. Chavo at the Royal Rumble. "

I really don't understand how the style effected that match at all, then again I thought that match was near perfect for what it was.

I never really though about this actually, but I'd be surprised if Angle won the belt from Eddie so quickly into Eddie's first reign. Wait a second this is the WWE, so no I wouldn't. I'm still guessing that Eddie will retain.

So an anticlimactic ending is near pefect?

Yeah, the time was what fucked up Eddie/Chavo. I think SK said it best when he said that it seemed like the first few minutes of a great 20 minute match.

As Eddie/Angle...hopefully, Eddie will go over, because I'd hate to see him have a bullshit one month reign. I can see both he and Angle going into the match as faces, Eddie going over, and Kurt snapping and turning on him afterwards.

That would be good.

Now find a way to tie in the month of january between these two in to that storyline.

It can't be done.

Six words...

"I did it for The Rock!"

Best feud ever!

I have faith in WWE booking at the moment, so I feel that Eddie will go over Angle relatively cleanly, in one hell of a fucking match (let's face it, probably the only match on the card that has the potential to be *****).

Eddie will most likely win the title due to Goldberg, and not due to him being the better man. A clean win over Angle at Mania will at least give him some credibilty as champion... until Lesnar comes calling. Since Eddie's whole GIMMICK is to cheat, then he could in theory have a very long and entertaining title reign...

Am I too optimistic?

When the story is Eddie's out to prove to Chavo he is very much so the better of the two wrestling wise, yes, because it really wouldn't take a while for him to prove that let alone a climactic ending.

I would of liked to see them go another 5 or 10, but they worked the match so it wasn't that neccesary.

And I still don't see how the WWE's new style effected the match.

Big Show is gonna win the Triple Threat.

Benoit wins RR

Eddy wins the title at NWO

----

Big Show vs Eddy (Champion vs Champion) at WM XX

It all balances out, sort of.

Dear God.

I'm begging you, please don't give them ideas.

Aw man, if they do that, just remember that Guerrero/Angle is gonna happen eventually...

That still frees up a possible Cena/Angle match... their Bad Blood match was **** and at Mania they could top it... you never know.

Depends on how Angle's neck is holding up. If he's relatively fine i see them giving Angle the title, though they should keep it on Eddy longer, give him a chance to run with the proverbial ball.

No.

The match wasn't anywhere near good enough for me to be willing to sit through another Angle/Cena feud to see the sequel.

I'm only saying do Cena/Angle if they're mad enough to run Eddy/Show.

What else is there for Angle at Mania? HBK would have been good, but he's in the main event now we think... how about Rock/Angle?

The WWE's new philosophy on title changes seems to be to only let it happen at brand-only PPV's, so I'm betting Eddie will hold on to the belt until the "Judgement Day" PPV.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of ANOTHER Angle heel turn, and I hate this Eddy/Kurt storyline.

It can't be done.

I have a way to tie January with now for the Eddie/Angle feud.

Kurt Angle wanted to get the title back, and wanted to get it on to someone he thinks that he can beat easily.

He saw that there was tension between Eddie and Chavo...hence he gets involved into the feud...pretending to try to reconcile them, but his plan was to break them up so he can get Eddie into the singles ranks.

Then, he gives Eddie the speech about how his focus is off, and he needs to control his anger if he wants to be WWE Champion.

Now Eddie has the title shot, and Kurt is in a number one contender's match. He's predicting Eddie gets a fluke win, while he gets the win in the Number One contender's match.

He then reveals his plan, thinking Eddie will be an easy win for the WWE Title.

So why would he take him out of the Rumble?

Why does he think he can beat him easily? Kurt has never beaten Eddy.
