I've been to 10 SNL dress rehearsals which is how I've seen a lot of skits that have never made it to air. Bob went to the the Elijah Wood dress rehersal and in his report said that one of the skits that got cut was a skit where Scrooge goes to Bob Cratchet's house on Christmas morning and finds out they weren't as bad off as they were made out to be. Bob's report is where I heard about it. It just sounded funny. I wish that sometimes on reruns they would replace some of the bad sketches with ones that got cut from dress rehersal. At least it would be something new. I know in 2000 and 2001 there were October episodes where cut skits showed up the next week on the Haloween special.
