Guest Renegade Report post Posted October 27, 2002 Does anyone know where I could find an English/US Rom of Treasure Hunter G for the snes? I can find patches for the Jap Rom but its way to glitchy.
Guest Special K Report post Posted October 29, 2002 Are you sure? I know you need a clean Japanese ROM. I got mine from cherryroms, and patched the metalhawk trans w/ snestools, and it worked great.
Guest Special K Report post Posted October 29, 2002 And hey, DownHome. Try WinKawaks for Arcade games. It's a ridiculously easy interface, only problem is it only runs Capcom and Neo Geo games. You'll need to put the neogeo.zip (i'm sure many could help you w/ that) in the roms directory for neogeo, but besides that, it works flawlessly and easily. Even runs Marvel v Capcom and Cyberbots. Guest treble charged Report post Posted November 4, 2002 I'm having trouble finding the ROM for the NES Robin Hood game. Does anyone know where I could find one? Thanks.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted November 4, 2002 I'd recommend checking out Vimm's for this one...it's a little slow, but they have almost every single NES ROM ever made. http://www.vimm.net/vault/NES/details.asp?...p?file=robnhood
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 4, 2002 I have nearly all NES games, and I am in a sharing mood, How shall I send the file to you? by e-mail or yahoo messenger? or I can do it in a WinMx chatroom.
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted December 19, 2002 I've been trying to find a ROM for a particular Nes game but I don't know the name of it. I thought it was Maniac Mansion but that wasn't it. Seemed like it had Mansion or Mystery in the title but I still can't find anything like that. I wish I could at least find out what it was called so I can find the Rom. I don't know how to describe it though. It was something about you were the kid in this family of mad scientists or something. You were in this big house and going around helping different family members do things. It was a game similar to Monkey Island in that you had to talk to people to figure out what to do, find stuff, put stuff together, solve puzzles. I loved that game and I don't even know what it was called. Anybody else remember it?

Guest J*ingus Report post Posted December 25, 2002 Three questions: 1. Are there ANY decent M.A.M.E. download sites anymore? It seems like everywhere is shut down, or is members only, or all the links are broken, or whatever. 2. I'm having trouble with the Apple emulator "II in a Mac". (I never got the damn thing to work, but that isn't my specific problem.) I hit the "Keyboard" function, and it says "press X to exit", where X is that weird little clover-like symbol on what used to be known as the Open/Closed Apple keys. Well, I pressed those keys. Hammered them, actually. Nothing. I can't get the fucking program to close or restart, either. 3. Are there any good emulators available for the Mac to play older PC games? I want to play the old King's Quest and Space Quest games, for instance, how can I accomplish this?

Guest bravesfan Report post Posted December 29, 2002 Must have Wrestlefest... Can anyone throw me a bone here and assist me in finding a MAME or RAINE-compatible rom of this game? EDIT: Okay, I did download the ROM from wplayer.com (The link there is found on the 3rd page)...I just need help with the MAME or Raine operation of it. And if you have a MAME-compatible rom of Wrestlefest, and you use Windows XP as your OS, please instruct me on how to run MAME without just getting a black screen. Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted December 29, 2002 VPW2 is for the N64. I finally got it last night. Not played it much, but it is a good game. Works best on a 1964 Emu.

Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 I am looking for a site that has a certain SNES rom, and a working one. I am looking for Super Bases Loaded 2. EVERY site I went to, the rom doesn't work. I use ZSNES 1.337. Either I need a better emulator, or those sites have the same bad rom. So, might I need a new emulator?
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted February 2, 2003 All right, I just downloaded Super Bases Loaded 2 and tried it on my ZSnes (v.1.10) and the game works fine until it gets to the batter/pitcher interface. Then, from there, the game works but there's a nasty glitch that fills the entire screen with green, making it impossible to do anything. You, however, have a much more advanced version of ZSnes than i do, so you'll probably get much better results. The rom version that I downloaded was from www.emuparadise.org, which is a pretty decent site. And, if all else fails, you might try Snes9x, which is the other recommended SNES emulator out on the 'net, currently.
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 For me, Bases Loaded 2 has a black screen for SNES, but Snes9x does the glitch........hmmmmm.
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Hmmmmm...I find it odd that ZSnes would actually lose compatibility with later editions, but - by gawd - I get jackshit on the new ZSnes. So, my prognosis is that - since the ROM can't play on Snes9x or ZSnes - it's probably a bad dump, considering that you can play virtually any cart under the sun between those two. Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted February 2, 2003 Man, so that means every site out there has the bad dump........ I have one more thing to do, I want to try it on the latest version of SNES9X, which is 1.39. I tried going to the SNES9X.com site, they don't have it. I tried numerous other sites......all of them are corrupted. What other site can I get it at?
Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted February 2, 2003 You can grab it here. I'll warn you, though - I just got the green screen during the batter/pitcher interface with Snes9x, so it may not be the answer.
