DrVenkman PhD Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 I noticed that while Amazon now has the Cena cover and pre-order up, there is still nothing about the Angle DVD. The interesting thing is that the Angle DVD, which was announced way back with a DVD calendar with No Mercy's DVD, was supposed to come out on March 2nd.. the same day Cena's recently announced DVD is coming out. I noticed a similar occurence as the calendar said "The Rock's Greatest Hits" would be released on January 20th, but instead "Mick Foley's Greatest Hits (And Misses)" was released. While I agree with striking the iron while it's hot and releasing a Cena DVD while he's popular (get over it, folks), I didn't think it would be at the expense of Angle.

Be like me, get some classic Angle tapes, a DVD recorder and DVD+Rs and start making your own Angle DVD.There'll be a Batista DVD b4 there's a Kurt Angle one.

BTW, did you notice the price for WMXX? $34,95 before pre-order, so it's a sure bet it'll be a 3-disc set. Whooo! Too bad on the Kurt Angle DVD. It sure seems they pushed it back in favor of the Cena one, which I'm not buying.

Perhaps they decided that a CAREER RETROSPECTIVE dvd would sell better then another random superstar DVD. That way they can make it look like the DEFINITIVE Kurt Angle collection ala the Flair DVDs.
