Guest nikowwf Report post Posted February 17, 2004 The PPV start time, on both TV and on the tickets is 7:00. Usually the PPV tv start time is listed at 8:00. Is it starting earlier? thanks niko
cbacon 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Yes, because the show is 5 hours. Although I don't understand why they wouldn't have the listing on the ticket as 6pm when Heat starts

pochorenella 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Yes, because the show is 5 hours. Although I don't understand why they wouldn't have the listing on the ticket as 6pm when Heat starts I was thinking about the same thing, since it looks like the show'll end well after midnight. No matter, I'll still be there pretty early and try to admire everything before the show starts. And hey, what happened to the supposed Smartmarks Posters Mania reunion? Is it still happening? Is it before or after the show?
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted February 17, 2004 is everyone sure it will be ending after midnight? Maybe they are just going 7 to 11, rather than 8 to 12? niko
The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2004 It's a five-hour show beginning at 7 p.m. Typically the last few years, WM has been a 4-hr show, starting at 8 and running until around 11:45. They'll be ending at the same time this year, only with an hour earlier starting time. I think the five-hour show is over-kill. They've struggled to maintain heat for the main event the last two years just going four hours. Good luck keeping the crowd hot for five. And if they think they can make it go for six by adding on an hour of Heat at the beginning, well, God help them.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 17, 2004 Isn't March 15th a Holiday or something? I ask that because I can actually see some having problems watching Mania until 12:30-1 o clock...but if there was a holiday that came the next day, It'd give people more motivation to watch it. I'm SHOCKED Day after SuperBowl isn't some holiday, considering NO other day aside from MAYBE Opening Day of March Madness has as many"sick calls" or "personal days"
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted February 17, 2004 The show is definately starting at 7 - I got a letter from WWE earlier this week saying so. Gates open at 6pm - not sure what this means for HEAT. WWE has PPV air-time booked until 12 - it is anticipated that the show will end before this and then vignettes and so forth will air until 12. The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Isn't March 15th a Holiday or something? March 15 is the "Ides of March." Not really anything special as far as getting a day off goes.

Guest Suicide King Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Am I the only person who would like to see the WWE HoF stuff televised, maybe during the pre-show?
Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted February 18, 2004 I think HeAT last year wasn't actually anything big except for mainly Mania coverage. They just showed last weeks matches that built up to the Main Events and they had 1 pre-show match (Rey Mysterio (Daredevil Style) vs Someone.... :-D) That was it. We'll see how it is this year DFA Edit: I agree with the HoF being televised! I want to see who is inducted to the HoF.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 I think they should have started the PPV at 2 or 3 oclock if they have to go 5 hours.
Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted February 18, 2004 I don't mind, since I live here on the West Coast. I love the fact it gets over at 9:00..... prime time to watch the news, simpsons, and get a little HCTP in and recreate some of the matches. I'm having a HUGE WM party on the 14th, so it's going to be a hectic day for me. DFA
Guest NitroJMS Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Since Heat starts at 6, anyone going better aim to get there around 5 PM. When I went to X8 in Toronto, it was a nightmare getting into the Skydome because of security checks. I had to wait an hour to get in and barely made it to my seats for the opening video, plus I missed all of Heat. Hopefully, they've fixed these problems for WM, but I'll definitely be getting there extra early.

Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Just a word of advice for anyone who has never been to MSG. Try to get there early, because there isn't many entrances to get into the building. They usually have maybe 5 or 6 security guards to check bags, which I'll assume they will have more than that for Wrestlemania, but the actual turnstiles to get to your seats are not many. Also be prepared that getting OUT of the garden is going to take a long time. They usually turn off all the escalators so it slows down the crowd from getting out. Typically it takes around 20 mins to get out when I was in the 100 section at raw or smackdown shows.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Its easy to get out of MSG. Take the stairs in the hallway. They are much faster. Not many people take them. Getting in will be what it will be. There won't be any more people than a typical sold out event. It won't be horrendous. Its 18,000 peeps at most. niko

I pretty much couldn't tell you what happened between the Guerreros-Team Angle-Benoit/Rhyno match up until the end of Austin/Rock.
