NoCalMike Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 So what are they? Right now off the top of my head I can say for sure...... NOES 1 Friday the 13th part 3 The Exorcist Psycho
eiker_ir Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 - NOES series - Phantasm!, the theme oWnZ~11! - Lucio Fulci's Zombie theme is cool, but kind of creeps me out. But it's catchy damn it!
Corey_Lazarus Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 - Phantasm!, the theme oWnZ~11! I agree 100%. The music at the end of The Evil Dead is creepy too. Not classic, but creepy. I also love the music that plays during the credit's of In The Mouth Of Madness. Almost a blues/thrash/goth sound. John Carpenter = the man.
dubq Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Lucio Fulci's Zombie theme is cool, but kind of creeps me out. But it's catchy damn it! Ahh, ya beat me to it!! The Beyond also had some pretty rad music, as did City of the Living Dead. I think they were all done by the same composer. Good stuff!
Guest OctoberBlood Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 I agree with: The Exorcist and Psycho .
BlackFlagg Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Exorcist, Halloween & Phantasm among others...
Guest El Satanico Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Any work Goblin did for Dario Argento Phantom Of The Opera Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes Hellraiser Candyman Poltergeist The Omen
Guest Crazy Dan Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Halloween is definately a classic, for a classic Horror movie. Psycho is a good one. Even though it is not really a horror movie per se, but Requiem for a Dream's music gives it that much more intensity, and the whole refrigerator scene is pretty creepy
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Seems like my favorite two (JAWS & Halloween) were pretty simple themes. Jaws theme was only a few notes of music but was sill great and we all (or 90% of us) know Halloweens theme
NoCalMike Posted February 18, 2004 Author Report Posted February 18, 2004 the Zombie theme creeped me out in the movie theater.
Guest JumpinJackFlash Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Dawn of the Dead has some pretty creepy music.
Guest El Satanico Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Dawn of the Dead has some pretty creepy music. The creepiest is the mall music at the end when we are watching the zombies take over the mall. By the way, that was the actual music for that mall.
Zorin Industries Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 All of Fabio Frizzi's themes for the Fulci Zombie movies The themes from Tenebre and Deep Red And even though it's not a proper horror movie, i love the theme form Assault on Precinct 13
Youth N Asia Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Halloween definatly, I think it builds tension better then the other ones.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Dawn of the Dead has some pretty creepy music. The creepiest is the mall music at the end when we are watching the zombies take over the mall. By the way, that was the actual music for that mall. By the way, I live near and shop at that mall. (Monroeville Mall)

(Monroeville Mall) Did you go to the 25th Anniversary of Dawn celebration last year? It was part of the Pittsburgh Comicon and included a tour of the mall with the actors.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Sure did, I even got David Emgee(FlyBoy) to sign my 20th anniversary DVD. It did rock the perverbial casbah. I also think I am biased because of where I live because I think "Dawn" is the greatest horror film of all time.
Guest thebigjig Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 thats easy... the original blob theme! beware of the blob... it creeps and and leaps and glides across the floor... right through the door and all around the wall, a splotch, a blotch, be careful of the blob BRILLIANT lyricism there
