Teddy Hart Coming to ROH on 3/13!

Recommended Posts

I know it's not like ROH has stuck with there whole 'not sports entertainment' bit, but if this is a work are ROH fans gonna be a little upset? I mean the feds gone from 'the best wrestling fed on the planet' to signing guys because there over as heels on the net for being idiots....

It's a work. Basically Indies, especially ROH which is followed by smart fans, have to resort to these kind of angles. It's actually a great idea.

The thing that pisses me off though, is that even if the 11/1 incident was a work, Teddy is still a HUGE asshole. He punches fans (or at least one) and his answering machine goes:

"Yo! You have reached the home of Teddy Hart, THE...best PROfessional wrestleerrrrr in North AmeriCA toDAY, alriiiight? Leave me a message, as soon as you can which is right now okay?"

This pisses me off...being a douche + having little talent = getting into ROH

There is almost no way the whole incident on 11/1 was a work.

For starters, Teddy was with MLW on a full time basis. That includes being booked for their 3/13 show. If it were a work, it would make sense to have Teddy return at the second scramble cage. Of course, up until a few weeks ago, Teddy wasn't even availiable for the show due to a booking he took after the initial incident. That obviously does add up at all.

Throw in other facts such as why would ROH advertise Teddy for shows after 11/1 if the knew he wasn't going to work them and a ton of other stuff and it obviously doesn't add up.

There is little doubt in my mind that the incident happened and just like it was reported, the wrestlers pretty much through Teddy out. Gabe has said over and over agian that the wrestlers threw Teddy out and he couldn't use Teddy again because the locker room would turn on him. Obviously most of the wrestlers have probably agreed to let Teddy come back and I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was accompanied with an apology. I think there has to be some connection between th news this past week of Teddy coming back to ROH and also taking more northeast bookings (in CZW and Afa's promotion). To me it looks like Teddy probably reached out.

If Teddy and the rest of the locker room can get along, then it is good for everyone. I just question whether Teddy can act mature yet or not.

Whether the initial incident was a work or not, I think the whole shebang is a work now. It's escalated and they are using it to their collective advantages.

Considering that this is probably a work, does anyone here think that they might do something with him and Samoa Joe? I think it would be a good idea, considering the comments Joe made a few weeks ago that even had people start to think that this was a work.

They are still providing the **** matches in spades, along with the angles, so who cares?

Virgil is being over for being an idiot. Bradshaw is over being an idiot.

Teddy Hart is over for being an idiot and having so much talent. I think it's the whole package that makes Hart interesting.

Oh, I think Teddy will be more than OVER...the reaction will be huge. Half of the fans will boo the crap out of him, about 30% will try to be louder and cheer for him, while the remaining 20% of casuals will not know what to do. Honestly, if Teddy starts having **** matches, I'm all for having him in RoH.

Work.

Mark Briscoe v. Jack Evans v. Teddy Hart v. The Amazing Red v. Alex Shelley v. Jimmy Rave is set for 3/13.

Even better than that.. they now have a Teddy Hart Shoot Interview planned as well.

Dont they usually fill those up with footage from through out the interviewee's career?

Besides the one incident we all know about, what does he have to talk about?

RF "Thanks for clearing that incident up for us Teddy"

TEDDY "No Problem, im glad to be given the chance to tell my side of the story"

RF "So what else would you like to talk about"

.............awkward pause...........

TEDDY "Did you know im related to Bret Hart, and im the greatest wrestler to ever live"

Sounds like a must buy to me.

*Heads off to reserve his copy*

Teddy probably has more to talk about then a lot of the guys they do shoots with. For example, the Backseat Boys have 2 RF shoot interviews out. I can't imagine them having enough to fill up two interesting shoots. There are a lot of other indy guys/lower level guys who have shoots that most likely fall into that same category.

Teddy at least as a few interesting things to talk about. Growing up in the extended-Hart family, getting started in wrestling at a young age, Mat Rats, current Stampede, his WWE tryouts and why he got kicked out of them, his TNA X-Cup performance and the controversy around that, his ROH deal, ect.

Not endorsing it or even saying I am interested in it, but Teddy Hart DOES have more to say then a lot of the indy guys RF films shoots with.

I see where you are coming from. I was basing my opinion on the fact that he has only really just broken through, and this time last year was an unheard of wrestler.

Actually, he WAS unknown for the most part till this started up.

Most cult fans didn't really know much about Teddy Hart. He wasn't really even looked upon more closely till this incident.

I mean, yes, we knew about him with WWE and the fallout thereafter, but it wasn't long after that that suddenly he became better known.

And that was last year.
