WHO IS THE NEW NWA DIRECTOR OF AUTHORITY?

In a final decision prior to stepping down from power and disbanding, the entire NWA Board of Directors voted this past week to declare a new NWA Director of Authority, who will be revealed on February 18 live on PPV! Dozens of names have surfaced - but no one is talking! Who will step up to try and counter Jeff Jarrett's absolute power in TNA? We'll have our answer on Wednesday's TNA broadcast!

JUGGALO STREET FIGHT

THE INSANE CLOWN POSSE VS. TWO FROM JARRETT'S ALLIANCE

On 2/4, the Insane Clown Posse issued a challenge to any two superstars from Jarrett's group to a Juggalo Street Fight on February 18! Come as you are, bring whatever weapons you want! The question is, who will step up from Jarrett's crew to face the Juggalo Army inside the Asylum? Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope certainly proved they could bring it inside the ring in their TNA wrestling debut. The question is, will they be so lucky this time around?

DEBUT OF "PLAYIN' FAIR WITH JONNY!"

America's most hated man promised it, and on February 18 he'll deliver - the TNA debut of "Playin' Fair With Jonny!" Host and celebrity mogul Jonny Fairplay will have his own forum to discuss what he wants with whom he wants!

*Due to unforeseen circumstances, Joanie Laurer will NOT be appearing on Wednesday's TNA PPV

TAG CHAMPS - STYLES AND...ABYSS?!

As the world witnessed on the Wednesday, February 4 TNA Pay-Per-View, AJ Styles once again overcame incredible odds (with some help from AMW's Chris Harris) to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship! The only problem is, his championship partner is the monster who tried to end his career - Abyss! What will happen on February 18 when Styles and Abyss are inside the same arena? Will they be forced to defend the championship...TOGETHER?! Tune in and find out!

TERRY FUNK AND RAVEN vs. THE GATHERING OF PUNK AND JULIO

On the Americas X Cup Pay-Per-View, hardcore legend Terry Funk promised to bring Raven back to TNA this Wednesday to join forces against Father Jim Mitchell's Gathering of CM Punk and Julio! No one has heard from Raven since he disappeared weeks ago - the question is, can Terry Funk deliver? Will Raven return to the Asylum this Wednesday night to get revenge on Mitchell, Punk and Julio? Tune in!

TEAM NWA IN 8-MAN COMPETITION - BUT WILL LYNN PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE?

NWA World Heavyweight Jeff Jarrett warned Jerry Lynn not to show up at the Asylum on Wednesday unless he and Team NWA won the Americas X Cup! Based on their defeat in the mega-event, Jerry Lynn must now apparently face the wrath of Jarrett this Wednesday night! However, we've also learned that Team NWA (Lynn, Sabin, Primetime and Dutt) will be in 8-man action this Wednesday night! Is Team NWA gearing up for the next international tournament?

RON "THE TRUTH" KILLINGS (3LK) vs. MICHAEL SHANE (NEW FRANCHISE)

Since losing the NWA tag team gold thanks to the New Franchise of Shane Douglas, Michael Shane and the lovely Traci, 3LK have promised a beatdown come Wednesday, February 18 on Pay-Per-View! According to TNA matchmakers, a bout has been signed this Wednesday featuring 3LK member Ron "The Truth" Killings against New Franchise member Michael Shane! Two of the youngest and gifted stars from two of TNA's top alliances will face off!

ALSO ON THE TNA PAY-PER-VIEW:

DUSTIN RHODES AND EL LEON (THE LION) VS. REDSHIRT SECURITY

In recent weeks, both Dustin Rhodes and the masked juggernaut El Leon (The Lion) have been a thorn in the side of Jeff Jarrett. As a result, the NWA World Heayweight Champion has instructed Kevin Northcutt and Legend - The Redshirt Security - to put an end to both Rhodes and El Leon this week in tag team action!

Looks like another must skip week.

And everytime the majority of the board says that, the show ends up good.

Just KEEP EL LEON DE CRAPPY WRESTLER off TV!! Send his ass back to Puerto Rico or fight some bulls or something.

Strange, aside from 2/11 (which got good reviews, I didn't watch), I haven't seen a good TNA in months.

What defines a good TNA show now?

What I meant was whenever a show seems to be a "fuck this, I'll watch the [insert random NBA team]" show, it ends up being better than expected. Not great, but good. And usually when it looks good it will suck.

Damn TNA logic.

A good TNA show...something ***+. I haven't seen anything ***+ from TNA since...hmmm...September? It's sad, with the awesome roster they have.

I tend to only watch sports I can actually play, ruling out NHL and Golf. I do enjoy the occasional fighting though LOL

Yeah this defintely looks like a "storyline oriented" show. So, those buying just for great matches might want to pass. But there will likely be a lot of big developements/suprises this week so fans of that type of show will be entertained. I'm coming home from school for the weekend so I'll watch a replay of the show then.

Raven/Funk vs. the Gathering could be good but that's about it. I'm curious about the Tag Title situation as well.

There hasent been a good TNA show since June...

They've gotten really bad lately though. It's sad when the ICP is in the top advertised match.
