HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2004 *has a trade pending in the mixed league(Dr. Tom's). Bonds & Smoltz(Can hear the laughing already) for Abreu and Morris. I'll be getting Abreu and Morris but man, my pitching staff severely needed a good, solid 16 win+ starter. Herges actually got the win in the first Os game and then blew the 2nd game, Julio and Mesa both got lit up pretty bad too. Carpenter gave up 7 runs in 5+ innings.. Â Also, I'm informing people as of right now, that I'm impressed with the H2H league. No one really has an edge except for two teams (and one of them isn't fairing too well right now). Everyone's currently in the runnings and looks to be making a run for the money. Great stuff everyone. Â Finally, I've sent a trade proposal to Serenity. Or else I will have to make a coaching change and go Dusty Baker style and make all my pitchers play every game of the week with 120+ pitch counts until I get some wins and low ERAs. Â I come to the conclusion that my team is one diminensional so its time to make some serious changes again.
