Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Feedback. Yep. Is feedback one word or two?
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 It was an alright show IMO. What'd you guys think of me adding in the link to the song? Did that help the segment?

Dr. Zoidberg 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 no feedback for the Ragdoll OD?...Ken is sad... But i give it an 8! WHOO!
Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 I loved it, I thought it was extremely well done. Nice work. 10 all around, the promos were stellar as always, and I was diggin' Panther/Calvin especially.
caboose 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Just a note. From now on, give feedback in the form of comments. The ratings system is all but dead. I haven't updated them in a while and over on IZ they don't even get ratings which defeats the purpose of the ratings in the first place, as they were meant to be a friendly competition. Papacita 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Not as good as last week's, but still solid all around. I liked the Poplex stuff (marks for teleportation) and I'm still loving the Brock/Gibralter build. I was a little disappointed with how Panther/Calvin came out though. I think I tried to do a little too much and ended up hurting the flow of the match in the end. I'll give the show an 8 just for this... (We see Zack sitting in a classroom surrounded by a racially diverse group of every day high school students.) Zack Malibu: Hey gang. This is Zack Malibu, I've got a new hit for the fall season... Zack and the kids: DON'T DO DRUGS!

Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 no feedback for the Ragdoll OD?...Ken is sad... Cheer up! I thought it was totally groovy. Pretty good show. There are some nice long matches to read if you're ever looking to kill some time.
Hank Kingsley 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 The Ragdoll OD thing just reminds me of a worked shoot angle we'd all be groaning over if it happened in real life.
Dr. Zoidberg 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Well, the original way it was written, it made it seem more "real"-ish, because it was just TJ Burns and Jasmine finding him. It wasn't this BIG thing, where everybody is all worried about him. It was just his girlfriend and his friend...that's it. But whatever. I liked it, fuck you if you didn't. and i'm not saying "fuck you" to you specifically...it's just... well yeah, fuck you.

Papacita 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I was a little disappointed with how Panther/Calvin came out though. I think I tried to do a little too much and ended up hurting the flow of the match in the end. Really? In all honesty, I loved it the whole way through. I dunno. The main thing that bugs me about it is that when I read through it, everything after the commercial break seems tacked on, and doesn't really flow with the first part of the match. Also, considering the knee injury, I think I may have given Panther a little too much offense in the beginning, and I wish I could've done a longer finishing sequence. I could be being too picky though. As long as you guys liked it, I can't complain.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Nobody liked anything I did? I'm dissapointed......
Adam 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 I'm giving the show an 8, I liked the whole thing, especially the Rags OD. Feedback on the Axel-K Money match? PLEASE? I'm beginning to wonder if anyone actually reads my stuff at all, let alone likes my stuff. Damaramu, I liked your stuff this week and Im looking forward to more stuff from the Dama-Smith feud. BPP was good yet again, but Im just about lost as to what the hell is actually going on. I'm digging the GPX-Minions feud, as well as Gibraltar and Brock. FrigidSoul, work on your spelling and don't diss Ragdoll. Hoff, great segment from you and the Macho Man. Panther, don't be so hard on yourself, you did an awesome job with all of your segments. I look forward to lots and lots of PPV buildup for next week.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Hey Adam, sorry about the lack of reply of your PM about the match, I really haven't been online much due to an Attack of Real Life (read: my brother having a heart attack) that didn't really put me in the mood to do much. He's doing fine though, so things are slowly getting back to normal. Just so you all know, I may not come back full time until after Anglemania, since I really haven't been paying attention when it comes to storylines and I just don't think I have much to bring to the table. I know Sly wanted to do something with me for Anglemania, so he has free reign to use PK however he wants and I'll pitch in with ideas when I get them. Just wanted to give you all an update. . Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Few things... And for what it's worth I'm a little inebriated, so exucse spelling and grammatical errors, please. I'm on vacation. First off, PK, my condolences. It's a shame when that sort of tragedy happens to anyone, and you're a great guy, this I know, which to me makes it seem all the more unfair. My prayers and sympathiues go out, bud. Second, quit fighting. Not everyone is going to like every angle, but as long as we all put our best stuff into it, people will enjoy some (most of) the show. I can see where the OD angle would be controversial, but it was well done, I thought, and not really sensationalized. On a personal level I liked it a lot, but that's not really here nor there. Thirdly, Papa man, I dug that Panther had a lot of offense. He's been booked strong and Calvin has been escaping by the skin of his teeth so to speak, so not only did it make sense that Panther would be in control for part of the match, but the ending also fit really well. My hat (which I lost somewhere in Milwaukee ) goes off to you. Fourthly, Dama, I've been enjoying the Ryan Smith storyline a lot. My only concern is that may be being booked too strong -- not that that's bad, but it makes Dama (a supposed psychopath) look weaker by comparison (not weak, but weaker.) But I have liked it all so far. Lastly, thank you Adam for th\e kind words. I had a lot of fun wroiting the Macho Man piece. I like doing "serious" stuff, but I'm a fun guy by nature and I got to show that off a bit. Glad you enjoyed. That's all from Beertown, take care kids. Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 PS! And you suckas thought that was all. Adam, I re-read Axel-K. I liked it; I thought maybe momentum shifted too often but that maty just be a personal preference. Basically I thought it was a good, back-and-forth match, and I dug the end and aftermath. Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 I just always saw Smith as sort of an underdog character, so to have him one-upping Dama seems odd to me. That's all. Like, if Ryan Smith can get the better of Dama, then Dama must not be very strong.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 I just always saw Smith as sort of an underdog character, so to have him one-upping Dama seems odd to me. That's all. Like, if Ryan Smith can get the better of Dama, then Dama must not be very strong. Well look at it like this. Damaramu and Northstar have driven Smith over the edge. Damaramu has repeadetly through many nefarious means tried to end Ryan Smith's career. So now it's time for Smith to get back at Dama. The two times he's beaten the crap out of Dama it's been a pearl harbor job. He knows he can't take him face to face. The production truck thing was him outsmarting Damaramu and if you noticed Dama still one upped him in the end with the pipe to the head and the match against Skull Mask. I think it's going evenly actually.
Hoff 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 I guess maybe it's the last couple weeks, with Smith interrupting the filming and sneak attacking Dama. I dunno, I guess I don't see Dama being afraid of anyone or thinking he couldn't take them face to face.
