Indian style sitting

Recommended Posts

The Arabs sat with the left leg in the air, as a rudder. While this was good for steering, it was not good for staying on the carpet.

This is true. The flying carpets can be easily commandeered by jumping on their heads, lifting them up, and tossing them off. Then all you have to do is dodge the Snifits and Shyguys and you're in the clear to get through 1-2.

I'm surprised no one made a Mario 2 refference until now.

Don't forget to dodge the flying serpents and genies while you're at it. [/Nick Arcade refference]

(To the beat of the Nick Arcade song, rapping Phil Moore style:)

Please do not, talk about

that show because, it sucked

Yeah it doesn't lend itself to this very well. If ypu've seen the show you get it.

What about it just without Josh? Wasn't he one of the first to go? Or did K&K leave first? It's been a while, I can't remember

Salute Your Shots > First incarnation of Wild & Crazy Kids > Double Dare > Nick Arcade > Second incarnation of Wild & Crazy Kids > What Would You Do? > Family Double Dare > All That without Keenan, Kel, and Josh

< That one show about kids raiding a Mayan Temple. There were bogeys in the walls.

I haven't seen the show in years, but I think Josh was the last of the originals to leave.

Secrets of the Hidden Temple or something? It was like a gameshow thing, right?

Your signature pic is far too fucking large. If you don't resize it I'll have the Purple Parrots scratch your eyes out

The best room in the Temple was the Jester's Court, or the Room Of The Three Gargoyles. One of the two. Honorable mention to the Laser Light Room and dishonorable mention to the Shrine Of The Silver Monkey...I HATED THAT ROOM! It was in every episode. The only time it was good was when the girl dropped the monkey head down from the second story and the Temple Guard threw it back up. Threw it up like the vomit that is The SotSM.

BUT the real question:

Legends of the Hidden Temple > Finders Keepers

or

Finders Keepers > Legends of the Hidden Temple

That host on Finders Keepers amused me...I was watching Nick GAS on New Year's Eve Eve or something and the host was like "You can spread some trash and make some cash!!!" and then he froze his fake smile, turned it into a frown, shook his head, sort of mouthed "What am I doing here" and went on. It was great. You don't see that self-loathing dry sarcasm on Nickelodeon these days.

There was one episode where a boy was in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, a Temple guard came out of nowhere, scared the boy and he threw the middle torso at the guard and ran away.

Which game show was it where at the end they had to open the lockers and do stuff with it? It had the host of Nick Arcade.

You're thinking of "Think Fast" I think, but it wasn't the Nick Arcade/You're On host. It was some other black dude with REALLY big glasses. I think I saw an episode a few weeks ago with this really dorky white guy as host instead.

Josh was one of the first original cast members of All That to leave. Which sucked, because Earboy was awesome. I think the first original cast member to leave was the short chick with the curly brown hair that played Ross Perot perfectly ("Hey, I got four billion dollars!").

Ah, mid-90's Nickelodeon television...was there any better time to be a kid television-wise? Pete & Pete, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, All That, Clarissa Explains It All, Are You Afraid Of The Dark? (some of the episodes were genuinely scary when I was 9), all of the mid-90's NickToons (Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, pre-suck Rugrats, Doug), and the extremely short-lived Roundhouse (which was so awesome, yet most of the jokes were pretty dirty and geared towards a mid-teen audience).

For some reason I thought Keenan, Kel & Josh were the last of the originals on the show before it went to shit shit mode.

And I think the black chick was the 1st to go.

Gotta love Ross Perrot imitations in the Ear-Boy skits. His ears are really big!
