Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Rambo, is the game noone likes. I remember renting that back in the day, played it for 4 minutes, and thought to myself "This fucking sucks"* *My reaction if it were today.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Mario Is Missing! That's a SNES game. It doesn't belong on any NES listing of crappy games. As for myself, I could name quite a plentiful amount of games that were crap from the NES era. Sadly, I owned quite a bit of them.

Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2004 I find it disturbing they made it for two seperate systems even though SNES was already out. Good point. Even weirder, is it was done by two different companies. NES is done by Nintendo. SNES is done by Software Creations, published by Mindscape.

I think I'll find somewhere to DL the game, to see its worthy of "Worst SNES games list". Judging from GameFAQs.com, it don't look too good.

Trust me... The only game that beats it out is Mario Paint for all time worst game on the SNES. As for NES, I'd actually like to nominate that Olympic Game with the running pad control. God that was a stupid idea.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted February 26, 2004 Let's not forget Home Alone. Here's the jist of it. You run around the house for 30:00 (game time that is) without being caught. If you're caught, you start all over. ... Yes, thats the ENTIRE GAME!
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2004 A shitload of people had an NES at the time the SNES was still being released. Unlike a company that sucks like Sega, who drops a system like a hot potato for the new ones, Nintendo kept making games for it. There were quite a few games that came out on SNES, NES, and Game Boy around the same time. A quick scan of the list of NES games also brings up Aladdin, Jungle Book, Lion King, Wario's Woods, a ton of TMNT titles, etc. Development on NES continued until the mid-90s I think, and Nintendo made a newer, smaller NES unit shortly after the SNES began to pick up, too. I never had an NES, so the games I played mostly were good ones, but I played Snake's Revenge--the unofficial Metal Gear game so bad it was struck from canon--and Yo Noid. Both were real stinkers. Street Fighter 2010 looks terrible, but I haven't actually played it first hand. Let's not forget Home Alone. Here's the jist of it. You run around the house for 30:00 (game time that is) without being caught. If you're caught, you start all over. ... Yes, thats the ENTIRE GAME! That's a shame. I remember the Genesis game being quite good--you could set traps for the baddies and make weapons by combining different items.
Guest Fook Report post Posted February 26, 2004 As for NES, I'd actually like to nominate that Olympic Game with the running pad control. God that was a stupid idea. You hated World Class Track Meet? That game was GREAT! Just tap a couple of spoons on the pad instead of actually running on it and you fly down the track.

Guest Smues Report post Posted February 26, 2004 I actually liked Fester's Quest, but it was hard as hell. I don't remember if I ever beat it, but after hours and hours and hours and hours and hours of play I did get very far into it. For worst NES game I'd say Robocop. I remember using all my christmas money and to buy this and borrowing some from my sister, and being incredibly let down. You can't jump, robocop is a puss, and even today I have to cheat like hell with an emulator to beat it.

If you're caught, you start all over. ... Yes, thats the ENTIRE GAME! Home Alone 2 was worse. You are chased around by appliances, such as vacuum cleaners and brooms. Then, once you make it to the boss of the first level, you have so little health left that it is impossible to beat. My friends and I played that game for hours and could never get past the chef. Too bad all they do is show you a screen that says "Congratulations" and it shows the knife going through the eyehole of the mask. So in other words.... BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
